Pizza Hut — Restaurant in San Antonio

Update: I accidentally ordered from this location last week and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. This store must have a new manager because literally everything I ordered was perfect and all instructions were followed. We just tried them again tonight and they did great! I’m hopeful that the good quality stays like this.

Original review: We decided to give this store another chance last night and they royally messed it up. The thin crust pizza we order was rancid. They didn’t bring part of our order, which included cheese sticks with extra sauce cups. The Cinnabon rolls we ordered had ZERO icing on them and were over cooked. We tried calling them but they would not pick up, I’m guessing because it was so close to closing time and they didn’t want to deal with it. This is so frustrating because it is definitely not cheap to order anything anymore. We’ve been living here for more than a year now and have never gotten an order from this store that wasn’t messed up in one way or another. They like to forget sauces every single time, even though they charge .99¢ for each cup. They skimp on cheese, undercook and overcook items, and are generally just sloppy when assembling pizzas. When I call they always apologize, but refuse to give refunds. No more. I’ve already submitted multiple complaints about this location to corporate before, but this time I’m going to contact the regional franchising representative to complain. This store is not up to the same standards as other Pizza Huts and corporate should really investigate this...

When I walked in I noticed the place was empty. The cashier said most do carry out or delivery. I said we would switch up it up and dine in. The cashier who took my order was extremely nice and very pleasant. While waiting I overhear a man who I now know is a delivery driver complaining about his tips, snatching receipts and balling them up fussing about door dash orders and tips. He was very disgruntled and fussed the whole time . Obviously he does not like delivering and seemed very unhappy . The food was brought out by another lovely employee who was very nice and refilled our drinks promptly . We would notice the above driver come back and forth after a delivery even more mad . His attitude was horrible and had to effect the other workers. My son looks down the aisle and sees a man on the ground. We had no idea if anything was wrong or a medical emergency. Come to find out he is an employee after getting off the floor he would refill his drink and then go back to lay down... On the floor. I was shocked when I was told at check out by the cashier he sleeps on the floor , that he comes in to his shift early so he takes a nap..... On the floor. I did take a picture but will not post because if I were the owner of this location I would be so embarrassed. While the cashier was pleasant the delivery driver loudly complaining about the job and the other worker asleep on the floor I...

It had been YEARS since I ordered pizza from the Ingram location, but only because of proximity. It just so happened my daughter was hosting a few friends with a pool party at my parent’s home and of course, swimming makes everyone hungry LOL. Teens love pizza, so the easiest thing to do was to place a delivery order. I recall having good experiences with past visits to the Pizza Hut on Ingram Road, so I opened my app and said a prayer. This location again DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! Delivery was faster than the projected time and our pizzas were hot and delicious. We were BEYOND SATISFIED!!!! Although we didn’t visit the restaurant, I gave “atmosphere” a 5 star because the driver was friendly and cared about getting our pizzas to us hot, and the presentation and taste of our food was perfect, so the people working there must enjoy and take pride in their work.
