Here I leave my horrible experience at this hotel during my stay which is supposed to be 4 nights and 3 days for my son's graduation in san antonio. We traveled from Orlando 16 hrs and separated as they requested the first night and as they were on the road they charged that night, according to what says on their page that if they do not cancel the charge. We asked for a non-smoking king bed. We arrived at 11 at night tired two crazy people to rest, when they charged us, they give us another balance, we explained that we paid the first night and that they charged. The person that was there was like indu and he understood me my little English but I the one of the no. The total to pay on the day of registration was 169.24 and they had already charged us a day, as the front desk insisted that that day was not charged, as it paid us $ 176 as we were so tired and we were not understanding, we paid. We were told that our room was downstairs, when we walked into that horrible room it stunk, the fridge broken, the toilet stinking, the shower curtain broken. I go back to the front desk already annoying, the boy tells us to go to a room upstairs, my husband goes up and was a smoker the plague cigarette came out from under the door, we went back to the front desk with the intention of leaving and sleeping in the Car, the boy tells us that he can offer me a room with two beds that we would teach him, and there we decided to stay until we saw what we did the other day. The room had the carpet asqueroza, was obscure had 4 lamps one of them broken and two of them without light bulbs, the ones I asked for in the front desk and never took them, the bathroom was clean but the toilet well stained with dirty it was disgusting to sit there. The second night the fire alarm went off all night and never resolved. I arrived the most expected Friday graduation day we picked everything up and left the day before, handed the keys and asked the front desk if they could give us a credit for the day before we left and said no because we had taken a package , As we left at 9 a.m., if we calculated we gave it two days because the first night we were supposed to enter at 2 in the afternoon and arrived at 11 at night and the day we left the day before. On the way my husband enters the account and he realizes that they made two more charges to our credit card, which we did not understand because we even paid more. I suggest that you do not use this hotel because it will be a holiday of terror and more that they steal your card without your authorization. DO NOT GIVE YOUR INFORMATION ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS BECAUSE THEY ARE EMPTY. Now I am going to write to the DayS inn corporation or to the hotel board because using that name discredits the DAYS INN hotel chains that we have stayed at previously and it has been a good experience. Read moreAlright, folks, buckle up for an honest, mid-stay report from your humble reviewer, currently residing at the Days Inn. After a deep dive into reviews across the interwebs (shout out to Booking.com for the best deal!), I knew this wasn't going to be the Ritz. My main hope? Reasonably clean, reasonably safe, for our crew of seven (ages 13 to 29 – yes, that's a wide range of expectations!). First off, let's be clear: this is a motel, not a hotel. Every room opens directly to the great outdoors – no fancy interior hallways here. It's got that seasoned look of a place that's seen a few decades, but you can tell someone's put in the effort to keep it kicking. Our two rooms? Clean as a whistle, and nearly everything works. We're talking a functional fridge and microwave, which, for less than $70 a night after taxes, feels like finding gold. The hot water in the tub is fantastic, even if the tub bottom has a certain... spongy charm to it. Doesn't bother me, but it's there! We did flag a minor sink issue, so we'll see how that plays out. Safety-wise, it feels pretty secure, with a wall around most of the property. I even braved a morning run and can confirm the neighborhood is perfectly decent – not flashy, but I felt totally safe pounding the pavement. Plus, quick access to major roads means we zipped downtown in just 18 minutes this morning. Now, for the creature comforts: the beds are surprisingly comfortable, and the A/C blasts cold – crucial for a hot day! The TV's a bit of a channel-surfing challenge (no number-typing, just up and down), but hey, that's a first-world problem I can easily live with. I'm also a big fan of the sink being outside the bathroom – a small luxury that makes a big difference with a crowd. Charger space is adequate, though if you're traveling with a small electronics store, you might need an extension cord. There's one ice machine on the lower floor and coin laundry, which is always a bonus. The pool is undeniably tiny, more of a "get wet and cool off" spot than a lap pool, but it did its job perfectly on a hot day. Breakfast was... breakfast. Today, the elusive waffle maker was a no-show, but there was cereal, some bread, juice, milk, and apples. It filled the void, and that's all you can ask for at this price point. So far, the staff has been friendly, which always helps. And this is where the bargain hunter in me truly shines: for the price paid, this place punches well above its weight. I'm talking under $70 a night AFTER taxes and fees! That makes me forgive a bit of external grime (a pressure wash and some fresh paint wouldn't hurt those outside floors, just sayin'). I'm genuinely happy with our stay so far and would absolutely stay here again. We're even contemplating extending our trip by another day! More updates to follow when...
Read moreAmidst everything around here this hotel is one of the best!!! Purvi the hotel owner help set me up with the Wyndham corporate account and made reservations sooooo easy!!!! The rooms were nice the beds were comfortable, the staff and service were great all for 69.00 a night. The pool was clean , but I will say I would have liked to see some meat and more protein options for the breakfast seeing as how I'm a country boy and was raised on a farm but other than it was it was the experience I needed. It had a smart mirror and everything was modernized except the tv, I couldn't screen share or do Bluetooth but not a big worry. If you are looking for a great price and a great stay this is it amongst all the options here!!!!! 💪💪💪💪
Edit: 8/26/2023 They made me feel super welcome and comfortable only to have one of my 3 trucks stolen from my truck company . The detectives and police think it is an inside job because the time it took to pull up break in and hack the truck says the cleaning ladies took pictures of our personal paperwork and info to program a key and have that info ready. Luckily I paid for all the bells and whistles and was able to locate my truck even after they disabled the computers and GPS. To any who see this DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
STARVE THEM OF MONEY AND LET THIS HOTEL GO UNDER FOR NOT COOPERATING AT THE TIME OF THE THEFT TO CAPTURE THE THIEVES. THE POLICE SAID VEHICLES GET STOLEN AT THIS LOCATION OFTEN!!!! MY MONEY SAYS ITS A SET UP WITH ONE OR ALL OF THE STAFF HERE!!!!
If you see a white Volkswagen Tiguan in the parking lot then they are casing the place to steal your vehicle . The hotel does nothing about security or improving the safety here.
To all who follow me , blast these folks and stave them of money and business. I'm currently going after them for the cost of the truck damage now that we have recovered...
