I have ordered from Revolucion through Uber Eats several times for the past three years. At first the order was correct and the food good with smaller portions, specifically for the tacos. However, over time I started to have issues every time I would order. Missing items from the bowl, ingredients not available for the bowl but they still sold it to me, tacos getting smaller and smaller. After I paid for extra items and didn't receive them last fall I decided to stop ordering. It wasn't worth the cost or the frustration despite enjoying the food (when it was correct and as ordered). However, today I really had a hankering for the tacos and decided to give them another shot. It's been a few months so I thought it may have improved. No. Absolutely hadn't. I ordered three tacos all on corn tortillas and all with the avocado lime sauce. I ordered the turkey chorizo and egg, bean and cheese, and bean/cheese/bacon. I also got a latte. When the order was delivered the bag felt light so I looked inside and only had two tacos instead of three. The driver said that's what she was given. When I opened the two I was given they were completely wrong. Absolutely not what I ordered and paid extra for despite the sticker on the bag having the correct order and my name being handwritten on the bag. The tacos were both on flour tortillas and we're turkey chorizo, egg, and potato. To add further frustration one taco barely had any fillings and the tortilla was hard. I understand that they're busy and popular and that food costs are crazy right now. However, the price of these tacos ($6.75-$7.50 each) means I have an expectation of there being more than a tiny scoop of food in a hard tortilla and I expect it to be correct. I didn't bother to call the store because the one time I tried after not getting what I ordered they were zero help and took zero responsibility for getting the order wrong. It wasn't worth...
Read moreMy best friend & I often visit the RIM location but we were near the Broadway location on Saturday Sept. 7, 2024- so we visited this location for the first time.
Unfortunately we did not have a good experience.
My best friend ordered the Office Breakfast Smoothie took one sip & unfortunately did not like the drink. She went to counter & asked if she could swap the item for something else of equal value on the menu. The staff member told her no, but they could remake the exact smoothie for her.
While we were sitting at the outside tables- a different staff member came outside to 2 young ladies, customers, who were sitting near us at a different table & RUDLEY ACCUSED them of removing a “reserved” sign from the table they were sitting at.
The girls informed the staff member they did not remove a sign & there wasn’t even a sign at that table when they came outside.
It was a very windy morning & as the hostile staff member searched for the reserved sign- which was a single sheet of printer paper that had blown into the near by bushes- she placed it back on the table & 2 seconds later the wind blew it away. Which was clearly what happened to begin with- but the staff member never apologized to the 2 customers she hostilely & rudely accused of removing the sign!
Overall- I ordered my normal- a PB & J Acai bowl & it tasted great as always. Despite the spacious size of this location & atmosphere- the customer service at this location began great- but turned horrible!
We will not be returning to this location & will not recommend this...
Read moreLarge space with lots of character. Heavy focus on alternative medicine claims not supported by science, which is deeply disappointing. I don't get why they'd put a couple vegan groceries, like beyond burger patties (no other burger fixings, just patties) for sale in a freezer. It's cool that they have vegan tamales. The tamales are in bulk packs in the freezer and are poorly labeled - pry one loose and buy it. Each costs $5.50, which seems pretty high for a frozen tamale.
As for the actual food and drinks: ACA Blue: 4/10 tastes funny. Not sure if that's because of the spirulina or I'm just not a matcha person. Cute design though. Lentil walnut taco: 8/10 surprisingly good! And I think the tortilla, lentils and nuts together might make a whole protein. Could use a little bit of sauce or veggies. Papas rancheras with cashew crema: 5/10 spicy, but pretty bland apart from that. Revolucion street taco: 4/10 blue corn tortilla. Not sure what that is on top, pickled sliced radishes maybe? Pretty strong. Did not care for the flavor though… very disappointing. Tamales: 6/10. Thick fluffy corn dough with trace amounts of vegetables inside. A few mushroom slices in one. Thin shreds of vegetable peels in the "spring" one. Didn't taste bad, but could definitely use more filling - and of course, I'm disappointed they come frozen and are so expensive.
Props for them at least having some vegan options...
