Each and every 1 star review is on point. 0 stars if I could. HUGE MISTAKE leasing from this place. I signed a lease for an apartment that was not ready by my move in date as stated ON THE LEASE so was made to take another unit with no added features or incentives to do so. Since moving in to an apartment that was clearly unready with a disgraceful backyard and laundry list of repairs needed, maintenance has not only left trash all over my apartment but lost a set of keys to the apartment (who knows who had access to the apartment) with no explanation or apology, and managed to mess up every single work order and so called “repair”. I also had no hot water for a week upon move in. It took a week to get hot water, apparently an easy fix, even after speaking to Travis, the “community manager.” A week. He and Genevieve are so nice and accommodating to get the lease signed, then immediately after have no solutions, answers, or any kind of action. And for an added bonus, Miss Angelica at the front desk whom “only deals with leasing” will give you some added attitude just for walking in the leasing office and is of absolutely no help or tact for that matter, when they are actually there that is. The staff is never available during the posted hours of operation, especially not close to closing time. The backyard, the only “benefit” of the property is so uneven, rocky and bare of grass that I don’t want to use it or put out the furniture I purchased just for the purpose. To enjoy the backyard. 6 months later and that still hasn’t happened and management has made it clear they have no intention of doing anything about it (other than throwing grass seed on hard-packed, rocky, uneven ground; that is their solution). That is unacceptable. There is dog excrement everywhere; all over the dog park, all over the sidewalks. Absolutely everywhere. Dogs are constantly off their leashes, morning and night, barking and chasing residents, not to mention getting in the “private” yard I pay for. Foul mouth children are constantly unsupervised in the cesspool pond of a pool (they claimed the pool is cleaned daily upon move-in; I have not seen it cleaned once). I am truly disgusted by the staff and lack of urgency and attention they give their jobs. I literally had to be home to babysit the maintenance man, Hilario, who did unclog my sink and replace the toilet seat that had been broken since move in (he was actually apologetic and helpful, but still unable to do anything about the yard). I should not have to take time from my day to make sure the staff is doing their job. Management should be verifying that work orders are completed to a standard that is satisfactory, yet they do not. I also should not have to specify that certain maintenance workers, Saul, are so rude and nasty that he is no longer allowed in the apartment to do ANY type of work. I don’t think I should have to submit a maintenance request to have my air filters changed every month either but apparently I do. Completely disappointed and unsatisfied with every aspect of the property. I fully regret not leasing elsewhere, anywhere.
Edit: Just to be clear, I’ve submitted dozens of maintenance requests, both online and in person. The staff has made it clear they rather respond to google reviews all day rather than actually do anything about the problems. 6 months later and still no response. If Bungalow 09 wants to do anything about the problem, which they’ve made clear they don’t, they know...
Read moreMy honest opinion after living here before Covid, and now a year and 3 months in after moving away.
The cheap rent and possible backyard is not worth the way of life here. Before Covid there was a single management team. Now, it’s switched 4 times already. Maintenance crews that have been here for years have quit and I can see why.
Here are the “state of the art facilities” they have to offer: Pool- dark green over the summer. If they do clean it, hope that the homeless or drunk person that slept overnight didn’t piss in it. Gym- lol I can’t even. It smells. It has gone to waste. My bf was running on the treadmill and it stopped and broke abruptly in the middle of full speed! I get cat calls from the homeless men doing whatever they’re doing in there at night when walking my dogs passed the windows. Dog Park- it used to be up kept. Now, the bag dispensers are never filled. The trash is overflown with dog poop. And the gate used to be duct taped! It got so bad that my dog pushed the gate open and ran off. The management company just zipped tied the gate closed. Backyard- be prepared to fix the fence yourself. Just take a drive around and you’ll see what I mean. The “lawn mowers” will leave your gate wide open. I almost lost my fur babies due to this, management tried to blame me for not noticing the gate open lol. AC- thank the lord this didn’t happen to me. But neighbors to my right and left were living months with out AC during the heat of the summer. I felt so bad for them, I offered our guest room to sleep in. Flooding- There has been water flooding the floors because the leak is so bad for so long it created a huge hole in the ceiling. The floors and tiles are coming up because of the water. Mold growing rabidly because they won’t close the hole. And roaches. The roaches!!
Ive spoken with other neighbors and they have issues with roaches too. We all pay for pest control but if I ever see anyone, it’s men just spraying for ants on the outside of the properties.
I’ve resorted to only using my dishes if they’ve been washed in the dishwasher and used right away. Or wiping them with rubbing alcohol if it was in the cupboard. I have to clean out and sanitize the cupboards once a month and it still fills with roaches, their feces, and they’re gross eggs. It’s disgusting, I gag every time.
There’s so much more but I know this is already a long review. But if you read, I hope this helps your decision making. Just be cautious and know there’s more that meets the eye than just a nice office agent sitting behind a desk answering your questions about the units. You won’t know the full extent until...
Read moreWARNING DO NOT MOVE HERE: 2021:The wish I could give more stars, I wanted to love these apartments. The place is good and accommodates my pit bull and my other dog. I do think management needs to be better at communicating with their residents. It seems like everything is my fault that I didn’t follow up on others people's jobs. I am thankful for some promotions they offered, but they did say that I could split my pet deposit into two payments, but they told me they couldn’t do that since they already gave a discount; that’s fine; I wish they would have told me that before I moved in. I know it’s a lot of money to move; I need time to save like anyone else. There does not seem to be any organization or communication going on.
Update: WARNING DO NOT MOVE HERE: 2023: after a few years of living here. It got a little better since they changed the management when we moved in 2021. By the half end of 2022, it has worsened; almost every two months or less, the AC will go out. I have asked maintenance to call me an hour before arrival, so I can crate the dogs…. They don’t, and I have to scramble around. Also, when they come in, all they do is put a “bandaid” over the situation and then leave and not give me an update, then we repeat this. Also, the plumbing is garbage; they have to shut off the water plenty of times a month; one of the days, something happens to the community plumping that poop was coming up our shower drain, they came by and had it come through our back yard instead and still left some of that poop, grey water, and TP there!!! Not even a sanitary clean. We have gone to the office to express frustration and maybe get compensation for the times we couldn’t use our shower, and nothing came from it, just brushing us under the rug. This place in a word is TRASH! For a 2-bed and one bathroom, it is way too expensive to pay for below-mediocre amenities and basic needs. I have lived in this unit for almost three years and am looking forward to moving out! Almost...
