Roy's Taco Hut — Restaurant in San Antonio

Again my experience here today was afull.i walked in. And one waitress asked what we would like to drink? Then another waitress brought our drink's then here come the good part of the situation, I asked my son, what he wanted to eat and I told the waitress two tocos of ham and eggs, she said " no breakfast" so ok we asked for babracoba tocos, and I asked for an order of avocado and she said no avocado only guacamole and I said no, I want avocado and she got loud again and said no only guacamole. I said I don't want, then she said ok and got me guacamole plan. Ok then I guess I just didn't want to go to another place, now I'm already here. Then we had to wait, like about 20 minutes for our food getting ready to leave, here comes our food no refills on our coffee's or tea, no utensils for our food, no napkins. If she doesn't like to interact with customers she shouldn't be a waitress in the first place. I haven't been in the reastrant in a while, I guarantee I will not attendthis place again. I believe, I asked for food I want to eat, and pay for it to be-cooked. What happened to the customer get's what they want. This person made it very unpleasant experience for me and my company to eat at this place. ..... Even the people at the next table said she must be having a bad day, but that is not my problem, come to pay to eat not to get...

My husband and I have been coming here for years because the carne guisada w/cheese and potato egg and cheese is amazing! About 2 or 3 years ago I found a wad of hair in my carne guisada 🤢 it looked like when someone gets all the hair from their brush & rolls it into a ball it was about the size of a silver dollar. When I took it back they said that it was from the “cow” when they cut it up which made no sense and she (manager) said that they get bulks of the meat so when they “shaved” the cow after killing it some hair fell in the meat… again made no sense. We stopped going but after a few years later we decided to give them a try again. I had been checking my food and everything was good until today…I found this which seems to be like some type of cloth… we’re never going back. Also the lady whom takes the orders at the drive thru window will tell us thank you when we put money in the tip jar. When we have we gives it to her but if we don’t she can’t be mad over that. Nonetheless, it was good food but they really need to pay attention to what...

The service and Atmosphere were pleasant. The food didn’t very much meet my expectations though. I ordered a beef fajita taco and a bean and cheese taco to go. The tortillas seemed homemade, I ordered the big tacos because I had never been there. The beef fajita could have had a little more meat since it had a lot of space still, the bean and cheese was pretty big and full. The beef fajita lacked flavor and was very plain, it was very tough and over cooked, it had no onions or bell pepper and was only the plain meat that seemed very lightly or unseasoned. The bean and cheese were too hot which made the tortilla pretty soggy and melted the cheese too much. In my opinion, these little details can mean a huge difference. Hopefully it was just an offf day, because I’ve usually heard good things...
