Señor Snow at Babcock — Restaurant in San Antonio

I've been going to here since they opened up at the old location (down the plaza) we don't go very often but have been a lot! Today was the first time my husband and I were disappointed! The Mexican cokes got smaller and price is the same, ordered nachos which were good (That's the only reason we are giving a 2), the corn in the cup was 80% water and only had ingredients on the top..... for the small that's ok (minus the water) but on a large you eat plain corn for the most part! We came home and drained our corn and repreped them! The staff was good minus the girl! She would take stuff away from the customer because it was not prepped correctly. The staff definitely needs a better way to keep track of orders and what's gone out! They were super unorganized and the girl was just getting after the other guys and embarrassing them in front of everyone! I liked it better when it was the owner and his family! Growth is a good thing and I'm happy to see all the people going but train your staff correctly or you won't be seeing...

Came to this place due to the decent reviews. From what it looks like their shaved ice treats maybe really good and got them the good reviews. Now as for the other things on the menu I am sure it's not the same. I order a corn in the cup, chicharones prepradoss, fried oreos, and a mango agua fresca for my wife and myself. It took about 20 minutes to receive our order. The corn in the cup was watered down and only had a light sprinkle of powder toppings with a lime. After 3 spoonfuls, watered down corn was all that left. The Chicharones were a mess and lacked the cream it was supposed to have. The first agua fresca wasn't blended right that half of it was iced, I returned it and got another one that was more liquidized but chucks of ice floating around and it tasted like unripe mangos. The fried oreos were that bad. They could be a lot better of they check the quality of the food before sending it out. I doubt...

The air conditioning was dope. Perfect setting for the blazing heat that the Texas sun emits during this time of year. Interior decor was nice and the place was lofty.

The place was cleanly...kinda? The checkers for the Connect Four had some dried up candy on them. I mean, I'm not walking around with a magnifying glass or anything. Just kinda stuck out when handling them.

The flavors were okay. Would've felt better knowing that you could just order one plain flavor. Maybe I'm loopy but there were only specialty items listed. I would've just gotten one of the lime joints.

Overall, cool experience. The service was decent. If they could sanitize and clean their board games that'd be great. It's Covid time and whatnot.
