Since their feedback webpage only allows 1200 words....I'll post it here. The best part of our dining experience was leaving this establishment, second best was our greeting when we entered/ordered, everything in-between was terrible. We placed our order and found a clean table, tables were not being cleaned as patrons left. It was not a busy night so we thought that our order would be out soon, it took about 15-20 minutes to get our order. I noticed that other patrons who arrived after us were getting their food, since I ordered the sampler I allowed for extra time. That extra time came/went and we still did not have our food. I walked up to the food prep area with my order number and saw that half of my order was there. I had noticed that tray from our table for quite some time but since it did not have all of our orders on it, I did not believe that it was ours. It only had a small bag of chips and a bowl (ended up being my childās enchilada plate, could not recognize it since we have never ordered it before). Once they placed the sampler plate on it, I knew it was ours. I overheard the cook talk about my wifeās quesadilla which they had given to someone else so they started making it. Fed up with the long wait and lack of communication with us, I grabbed my sonās food which had been sitting out for some time under the heat lights and looked very greasy to our table. I came back and grabbed my sampler plate, which is when the cook asked if it was my food, I said yes and left the number on the counter. About a minute or two later, that cook brings my wifeās chicken quesadilla. My son by this point was already restless and wanted to move around so we just attempted to quickly eat our food in order to take our son home. The rice and beans on my sampler plate were tasteless, the quesadilla tasted old and dry even though I saw them start making it when grabbing the food from the counter and as mentioned earlier, the enchiladas were greasy. My family owns a very popular Mexican restaurant here in San Antonio that has been open since the early 80ās. I grew up working there so I would like to think I know what food quality and service should be. I also tend to side on the establishments side when things go awry since I know the difficulties of running a restaurant but I could not and cannot excuse what happened during our experience. I do not see us visiting this location and are hesitant to visit another location for the foreseeable future. I know the establishment has no control of their patrons, but a table behind us that served a large group, of which there were only two guys left, were visibly intoxicated and continuing to drink beer, I did not see them buy more beer. If they had, I would have contacted TABC. They were loud in their conversation and kept talking about going to the āother guys placeā to continue drinking and smoke weed. Mind you, these guys were in their late 40s to mid 50ās. They left before we did and we could not tell if they drove away or were picked up, hoping...

Good service, fairly quick drive through service, good late night eats, and fairly decent food specials.

Came in today for a quick bite and the wait was extremely long considering it was not packed even though it was happy hour.
We waited a long while for our food then when we went back to order some extra cheese, the young lady, was extremely rude and not customer oriented. Rather abrasive when my 10 yr old asked for a small portion of shredded cheese for her food. She seemed irritated at having to be at work today. When our food finally came out, I went back to the counter to let.them know I had ordered refried beans vs "borracho" beans and I got a lecture from the girl there about stating this from the get go. Like I really knew they had borracho beans, I really though they only had refried. I got charged $1.69 for a small drink, but during the time I was ordering our food, a woman walks in, from outside, didn't order any food, didn't buy anything, and asked for a glass of water. The girl proceed to hand her the largest glass in there and told her not to worry about paying for the glass since she was only getting "water." The lady then went and filled up her cup with iced tea and then walked right out. What the heck? And here I am, I spent more than $20 bucks on food and I get charged for my drink? Yeah, I was really not happy with this. Oh well, no one will read this or say anything to correct it. But it was noted on my online customer survey. I won't post any pictures of the 2 rude females,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give this place no stars I would!! The employees and the manager on the night shift are completely incapable of any customer service experience. I understand I ordered my food late but my food was not made right and when I went back to the store they had just closed 10 minutes before. All I wanted to do was talk to the manager about my order being wrong and request it either be remade or give me a refund. The manager refused to come to the window despite my efforts of knocking on the drive thru window and calling the store phone. Several employees walked passed the window and refused to acknowledge me or offer to call the manager besides one employee who looked new and very young. I waited at that window for a good 20 minutes until the manager finally came out from the back but only to let the employees out to leave. He walked straight to the back and never looked up at the window. This is a poor poor example of management and customer service. Nothing will probably happen to the manager and employees but let it be known that this taco cabana has the worst customer service I...
