Whataburger — Restaurant in San Antonio

!Update! We have been coming to this location for a few months now & they seem to have gotten much better. I come here a few times a week sometimes for lunch or dinner & sometimes after midnight for some midnight munchies, the service now is pretty quick & usually hot, I have not had any mistakes on any orders since my last review . The have redeemed themselves. 😋 ......Came after here at 2am the food was good but I ordered the 3 piece chicken strips meal and I only received 2 and 1 1/4 strips so technically it was only 2 since I did not want to eat the 1/4 strip(looked like someone had already eaten it) and had no texas toast 😞 and I love texas toast, I didn't notice till after i ate the first strip very upset😔 Also the employees in the drive-thru were very confused they gave us our order then were going to charge us for another order after he had already handed us our food (he said " ok the other order comes out to...") we stopped him and said no we only placed 1 order. I'm not what was going on but I usually stop here for lunch or dinner a few times out of the month and had not had an experience like that before at...

Extremely disappointed, food is quite literally a health hazard. If you’re going to open a new location, make sure you train your staff properly to execute grill correctly rather than throwing them on there with little to no training and in result serving raw food. Has happened twice at WB, including the one visit to this location.

Continuing on, when I had came through the drive-thru after receiving a cold grilled chicken patty, manager “Jon” had accused me of trying to manipulate the store into giving me free food by falsely claiming the grilled chicken patty, and saying that other employees had reported me coming in multiple times for replacements (mind you I have barely went to this location). When I asked for proof or any sort of date when I last came (since he claimed this was a daily thing), he simply walked off and got me a new grilled chicken patty. Extremely shady and poor customer service.

There are some pretty nice and kind staff that definitely do deserve a raise, by my experience here is beyond disappointment. Hope location improves...

If I could get give this establishment a 2 and 1/2 of a star I would but can’t. If you ask for modifications on a sandwich don’t expect to get it. I come to this Whataburger often as it’s the closest one to where I live since I am disabled I cannot go far. The only thing I ask different on my burger is just no onions and with mayo. They get the mayo part right. But when I ask for no onions it seems like theirs twice as many onions as there usually be when I would pick them out. And it’s hard for me to pick them out due to my disability. The cruel part is that they even labeled my burger wrapper with the sticker (no onions) but I got double the amount of onions then what they usually put. I’m not here to be mad about it but just wanted to let others know that at this location they aren’t the best with modifications. I’ve given this location multiple chances and each of them had failed me. But for people who just wants the burger as is no asking for no anything then it should be...
