If you’re ever in San Antonio, put this one on your foodie list!
Another spot we tried during my birthday weekend, and this one came straight from a TikTok recommendation.
I saw some people online saying it’s overpriced, but honestly? They must have never been to Turkey Leg Hut in Houston—back when it was open, one turkey leg would run you almost $28, and the lines were insane.
We also saw some reviews saying there was no flavor, but I don’t know what they were eating because this turkey leg was nothing but flavor for days.
Here, hubby and I shared the Lemon Pepper Turkey Leg, and let me tell you, it was fire. The seasoning was a little salty for my taste, but I’m also super picky when it comes to salt, so take that with a grain of… well, you know! Hubby thought it was perfect, and we already knew we’d be grabbing another one on our way out.
We did end up going back to try their Famous Turkey Leg along with the Lemon Pepper again—and of course, we had to grab a side order of their yellow rice for our trip back home. This time around, the temperature of the food was on point—hot and fresh, just like you want it.
For what it is—big flavor, quick stop, and a fun treat—I’d say it’s definitely worth checking out, especially if you’re craving something different than your...
Read moreThis is a brutal honest feedback. I've always came here for my go to turkey legs. I support small business..and followed them on Instagram but the last two times the Turley legs have been dry. It's not like their Instagram. Like I thought maybe it's a fluke they had to move over to the car wash side maybe they dnt have enough people.. but this last recent visit was very displeasing. I hope they get this back on track because I did a few times get a turkey leg that fell apart.. I dnt know if it's cause they been over cooking them and they dnt check it before sending it out. With my business if I made something bad I rather protect my reputation then give it to a customer.. one bad batch will turn into a domino effect quick.. sometimes it's better to cut your loss and just throw the turkey leg away.. I'm sorry to owner I'm not attacking you it's just my opinion. But I will not come back honestly just 2 turkey legs and sides was over 50 bucks. And being it's a repeat fail the consistency streak has been ruined for me. On a positive note the sides were delicious the Mac and cheese has never disappointed me could be a little cheaper but 5 bucks for a little over a spoon size stuffed in a plastic container dsnt sit...
