Speedway Sports Bar — Restaurant in San Antonio

Won't be back. 1st round ordered two drinks, ranch water and a beer. Got the ranch water waited for my beer, then get TOLD "U GOT your BEER ALREADY" told her no & I laughed it off no biggie. 2nd round. Waiting in line, I watch bartender serving others who have just walked up to the bar as I'm waiting patiently behind a couple to finish ordering. When I finally got to order, I got asked if I didn't cut in front of someone, then get asked if I was sure. I just decided to close my tab out of frustration. But the bartender with a flower tattoo sleeve decides to instigate the situation by telling others at the bar a story like I'm the problem. I dont know if they're drinking or smoking or just ignorant. I felt like I was the bartender dealing with a drunk when all I said was, "I'll just close out." Out of frustration, my wife says, "At least you could be a little more professional." The bartender says," Obviously, you're the problem." All that attitude just because I decided to close my tab. I mean, who tries to make matters worse. Gina was a badass, suks to see she wasn't there. Speedway...

This place is ripping people off bad. The drinks are super weak and when I told the bartender I wanted an open tab she kept my card. I just assumed that was their normal practice. When I went to leave and cash out they denied keeping my card saying that they don't do that. I locked it immediately. She accused me of being too drunk after only 3 drinks. She tapped my bag and said I bet u you have it and are too drunk to see it. I handed my bag to the security guard and asked him to look. I was told to leave so I sat outside and was up set naturally and then after about 30 minutes the same bartender came outside yelling at me starting the whole thing over. I explained to her how I'm sure the other bartender who took my card was busy and must have set it down somewhere. She had already been sent home and I asked that they call her and ask but they refused. Said they were too busy to deal with me. It's a shame I came in to play a couple rounds of pool and it turned into a whole issue. I will not be...

The place is okay but but overly priced the waitresses need more knowledge in regards to their drink selection especially if your looking for specials (wells) which are overly priced you have to ask about specials would be nice to be told what's the specials are so on but their attentive overall its 5$ for a well a regular mix drink is 7$ is better to go to a club the music is not good considering theirs older folks their not really a bar setting theirs no good variety of music their DJ is not good at all won't take requests drinks his beer by the bar chats leaves a mediocre Playlist to play i would not recommend coming overly priced and no good music and the seating arrangement is horrible...
