Delicious Tamales — Restaurant in San Antonio

Location is small, more like take out... hence the ToGo. Tamales were mediocre for the price at about 12 buck. For a chicken dozen and pork dozen it totaled to about 26 with tax and credit card used. I should have asked but maybe it was more for using a card not sure, she did ask cash or card. The chicken were blan but the pork had more flavor. The chicken tamales also seemed a little on the tuff side, like maybe they were not freshly made. Not sure if they are cooked daily but the chicken sure didnt seem to be day by day. All in all, not worth the tamale crave bug I had. The tamales were small. At least it wasn't a complete bust as I previously stopped at a taco truck and they were selling tamales for 20 dollars dozen. Oh and Salada was not included... extra $$ if you...

So we went nd did our laundry nd decided to get some tamales. Well the lady tells me the tamales come out of this HOT pot that she took some out to cool off, obviously thinking that means they're warm. The lady gave me cold tamales and then tells me to go warm them up across the street, lmao, I told her how can u sell cold food ma'am, this isn't right, I came to get something warm to eat. I'm doing my laundry nd me and my family wanted some warm tamales not cold, she wanted to be smart and take out a bag from the fridge, she refused to give me my money back, saying they don't except returns...... On top of that the tamales were nasty, no flavor nd they serve them cold.... Very unprofessional, and rude. Poor...

My wife disagreed but in my opinion, the tamales were GREAT! The lady In front? Well I guess she forgets that the main function of being a cashier is customer service. She was not happy at all to get off her chair and off of her phone to push a few buttons on the register. I mean, it's not like she's not getting paid to do it. So don't misunderstand me, the 1 star is for the customer service. I want greeted as I walked in and when I told the lady to have great day as I walked out all I got was silence as she rushed back to whatever she was doing in her chair and...
