First off, I've been here 3 times without an issue. This time it was different. I tried to order a 10 piece nugget and a classic chicken sandwich because there was an offer on the app. I tried to order and the lady couldn't seem to understand I wanted a classic chicken sandwich. She kept think I was saying asiago sandwich. I tried to correct her twice but she didn't and kept thinking I wanted an asiago sandwich I just figured I'd correct her at the window. I tried to confirm that I wanted a classic chicken sandwich and she still didn't understand. I told her I had the app and had her scan it and she scanned it and she said it didn't work because she put the wrong thing. I told her wanted the classic again and she finally changed but she keep the other sandwich I never said I wanted. She was an elderly lady, and seems like she couldn’t hear me very well, but if they are hiring someone that isn’t capable of taking an order, they should probably not do that and this whole time I see the manager in the back on his phone in Plainview of me. I asked for manager and she claims she was but then she finally got him and he’s like what do you want and I tried to explain to him about I wanted the classic chicken sandwich. I’m trying to use the app and he tried to act like I did not know how to use an app and I did and I’ve used it multiple times without issue at the same location. and then they try to scan it a third time and he’s telling me oh it’s already been scanned so you can’t use it so I’m like can you honor the coupon because it was obviously not my fault because she could not hear what I was saying or understand what I wanted. He was trying to make it very difficult and then he ended up telling me I was wasting his time and it’s already been 10 minutes but it wasn’t my fault in the first place when I was having issues ordering because the lady could not hear me. And I looked back just to see if there was people because he claimed people were ordering but he was previously on his phone so it wasn’t really an issue. I saw only one person and they weren’t even finished ordering so he was obviously trying to make it like it was my fault but it wasn’t. The way he acted and talked was very unprofessional and condescending for no reason . it is your job to help resolve issues as a manager not escalate things to where you’re going to piss someone off. Fortunately, I just drove away and tried to fix it by saying have a good day, sir, but he pissed me off so much I had to leave. I will not come back here and I hope management will see this review because that is not professional and he shouldn’t be working in customer service. Read moreOrdered our food on the Wendy's app. It was about 5am and this location being opened 24/7 I looked up what time breakfast started and saw that breakfast started around 6am. When I opened the app and saw only lunch/dinner items available I didn't question it and placed my order. Get to the drive thru box and they say that they can't find my order. I opened the app and I see its not in my history so I thought maybe I accidentally cancelled it. They told me to come to the window and they would try to figure it out. I get up to the window, no one opened or came to the window right away so I just put my order back in on my phone and I reordered my food. After I submit my order again and it comes up on their screen that is when they finally opened the window. Then they tell me that they can't make my order because they are only serving breakfast now. Then I hear a different person say why didn't you just order at the speaker box, you would have seen that then. Being irritated by that comment I just said that they could cancel my order. I assume the reason they couldn't find my order when I arrived was because they saw it and cancelled it because they were serving breakfast. I wasn't looking at their menu when I arrived because I already placed my order. And they should have written down or memorized the order that came in for when I arrived before they cancelled it because then they could have avoided the situation of me just leaving. But instead they tendered out my order and charged me for food I never received. My app never gave me breakfast options when I was ordering the food either time. And I've had times while ordering breakfast around 10am and it would stop me because it switch 10 minutes early. So for them to deny me what I ordered and then still charge me for it is irritating. I contacted someone online but haven't received any communications back about my situation. Now I have to deal with my bank to try and get my money back. I won't be going to this Wendy's again and I probably won't be going to any Wendy's...
Read moreI don't know what is wrong with the customer service at this Wendy's location, but they are by far the worst Wendy's I have ever been to. Usually I'm forgiving when it comes to mess ups or mistakes; however, when you combine a messed up order with a terrible attitude then an establishment deserves a bad review. From beginning to end was terrible. I already expected that they would mess up my order via their intercom system. When I got my pineapple mango lemonade, I tried to inform them that it doesn't taste like what I order and/or they may not have added enough syrup. The worker then tells me no, that's the drink. I felt it wasn't a big deal and decided to let it go. I checked the burgers to verify that it was correct. I ordered a baconator and they literally put a half a strip of bacon on the sandwich. I go inside to inform them that the baconator I ordered literally lacks bacon. The worker then angrily snatches the burger and throws it in the trash when she noticed the sandwhich barely had any bacon on it. Moreover, the other worker catches an attitude quoting well there shouldn't be any complaints because it only has three strips anyway. Ironically, the worker was wearing a shirt that stated you can never have enough bacon. Finally I get my food and left.
This place is absolute trash. Every time I have tried Wendy's at this location they mess up my order to the point I haven't been in over 6 months. Tonight reminded why I haven't been there in ages. I highly recommend going...
