In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in San Antonio

Alright, folks. Now, I know we're in Texas and I don't want to ruffle any feathers here but I've gotta say it - I've given Whataburger a fair shake, and honestly? In-N-Out just takes the burger crown for me.

Don't get me wrong, Whataburger's got some solid choices, and their Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit Sandwich on Jalapeño Cheddar is something to write home about. But when it comes to that classic, straight-up, no-nonsense burger? The In-N-Out Double-Double just hits different.

There's just something about the simplicity of it. The fresh, never-frozen patties, the melty American cheese, the lettuce that actually crunches. And that special spread, man, I could put that stuff on everything.

And let's not forget those fries. Yeah, they're a bit different, cut fresh in-house and all, and sure, they're not to everyone's taste. But me? I dig 'em.

But hey, that's just my two cents. Love for a burger joint is as personal as your favorite baseball team or whether you think pineapple belongs on a pizza. Would have been good if it wasn’t cold. Cashier shorted me $10 and claimed I handed her a $10 bill and a $20 bill when I actually handed her 2 $20s for my order. She proceeded to lie to the manager and me claiming I gave her $30. Other employees made sarcastic remarks and laughed believing that I was trying to pull a fast one on the establishment while trying to get it figured out. Not sure what her deal was if she was trying to pocket or really believed I gave her another amount.

They also messed up my order I asked for 2 pattys with cheese and spread no bread . They gave me all the way with bread. Had to go back inside to get my correct order.

I also order 3 Flying Dutchman with spread meaning I would need forks to eat the meal in the car they did not include forks or napkins after I told them it the meal was to be consumed in the car.

They also put half of my order in bags for some reason when again I asked for my whole order to be placed in boxes for the car.

By the time they have me the correct part of my order and I got back out to my vehicle the part they did get right was already cold.

Usually forget stuff but never an experience this bad with them.

The manager was actually nice and helped resolve it and gave me back the Money...

My best friend and I went to dine-in at about 11pm yesterday on 6/27/2024. I had never been and he treated me to try it out. The first thing that threw me off when I walked into the restaurant was the strongest smell of urine due to the restrooms being right next to the entrance door. I was disgusted and loosing my appetite due to how strong the smell was. It smelled like no one has cleaned the urine in 3 days. As someone who has worked in bedside patient care, I know the smell of urine when I smell it. We ordered our meals and got our food in a decent time. About a 10 minute wait. As we are eating and chatting, I got up to refill my drink and as soon as I looked down, there was an adult cockroach crawling by and I gasped so loud that even the customers sitting by us stood up and freaked out with the cockroach crawling around. They mentioned that they may have seen a second cockroach crawling underneath the booth area. An employee that was sweeping around the dining area was able to pick up the roach with his broom set and took it away for us. After that experience, I just could not say I enjoyed my experience due to how dirty the atmosphere felt. If the cleaning gets resolved, I might return. As of now, i don't...
