Only giving one star because 0 isn’t an option. I’ve ordered from here multiple times and have never had any issues, it’s not the best Chinese food but it satisfies the craving. Ordered from here last night and during the online process I made sure to update my contact info since it has changed, in the comments I made sure to put what building I was in along with the apartment number and gate code. 45 minutes went by and we still hadn’t gotten our food which was unusual so I called the restaurant and the female manager answered and said they have been trying to get ahold of me because the driver was knocking on my door but no one answered and when they tried to call me the phone number was wrong, I told her we had been in the living room the whole time and no one came to our door, so then she changed her answer and said there was no apartment number on the order and I asked how is it possible that he was knocking on my door if the apartment number wasn’t on the order, she stuttered quickly and said that he was delivering another order but would stop by after. I let her know that I updated all my information on the online ordering process and all she could say was that it didn’t transfer over. So I gave her the correct contact information again and another 45 minutes later is when our food finally showed up. The man came to the door and by the time we got there he was trying to walk away. My fiancé caught him he handed us our food and started to give us the receipt and asked if we wanted to tip, after everything had already been through we said no so he snatched the receipt back and walked off quickly without having us sign a copy and letting us keep one. We finally sat down to eat and of course our order was wrong and cold. My fiancé was very upset so he called hoping for some sort of compensation and spoke to the female manager who didn’t seem to care one bit and told us we could call back later to get a free meal. I’m just confused as to why someone would think we want to eat there again after all of this. I work in customer service so I understand mistakes happen but I also know that if you value your business you try to make the issue right, which she did not try to do with her tone and attitude alone. So we decided to drop it and cut our losses. Until today after I have been extremely sick all day, I can only imagine there’s some sort of correlation with the food. This place is absolutely awful on all levels from their food to their service. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone anymore, especially the guests...
Read moreI have an old take out menu and when i tried to order my food tonight I was told that there is a $12 min. for delivery .....I have been ordering food from this location for a very long time and I have never been told about a min., keep in mind I live alone, the young girl Rachel became very rude when I explained to her that I have never been told about the min. limit and I explained to her that the menu I had was old and tattered and according to it there was no MIN. then she proceeded to be rude about it and I asked her to put someone in charge. A young came onto the phone and explained the new rules and that he would honor the menu that I had but that from this point that I was to held to same rules as other customers so I gave him my order and he that would $13.83 dollars when I heard that I informed the young man that I had meant the requirement for delivery he told me NO because it is the total BEFORE TAX IS ADDED....I told him that didn't make sense and that I wanted a full apology from RACHEL he agreed, Rachel came onto the phone and gave me a full apology and said that she would make sure that I would have a full updated menu in my order of course when it arrived it wasn't in there....when I called back to ask her why it wasn't in the bag she became rude and said it was the drivers fault and hung up on me....so I went on line and it does say $12 min for delivery but it doesn't make it clear if it before or after...
Read moreI used to order from Wok on Wheels all the time. I even worked there for a short time and I can tell you there is NO management team. There's only the owner of the store and he doesn't listen to his employees. He shut down the Grissom location without warning after 10 years because he believed it was the property owners responsibility to clear the rats out of the kitchen so instead of spending the money to make the necessary changes, he held a meeting to tell everyone the place was shutting down and packed up the store that morning. He doesn't have legal cooks at any location and they all get paid under the table, they have made sexual advances at some former female employees, and if you don't do what the cook says you get backlash from the owner. This place is terrible. As far as the soliciting, the owner hires someone not associated with Wok on Wheels to pass those flyers out so to call the restaurant to complain does nothing because those employees don't do it, nor will he listen about not passing them out at complexes that do not allow soliciting. I wouldn't be surprised if the other locations get shut down too....
