Taqueria Datapoint-#3 -De Zavala Road Location — Restaurant in San Antonio

I placed an order on grubhub for the asda chalupas mind you not I order here all the time on the weekend. After I placed the order I called like I always do. to tell them not to put cheese (I’m lactose) or avocado lettuce and all that extra, so basically just meat bean on a chalupa which is the best y’all should try. Anyway they answered the phone and when I proceed to tell them how to do it they said ok so 10 minutes past by I hear a knock it’s my food I’m going to dig in mind you not I just got off so I’m hungry ready to dig in I open my food and it’s EVERYTHING I said I didn’t want that’s not it this is where I’m unsettled with I call them on the phone to tell them hey my food is wrong they lady on the phone says “ when you called your order was already made” why didn’t you tell me that when I first called. She made it seem like they where going to accommodate me on my food I mean like why can’t we edit or order anyway we literally have to call but whatever, I proceed to tell her that’s not how you do service you don’t tell me on one phone call you are going to accommodate me and than on the 2nd phone call tell me when my food was already made WHAT?!?! I have the up most respect for them but what we are not going to do is come here and treat us like nothing NO we do not do that. Customer service is everything y’all are a family owned so this probably won’t go anyway but that was completely WRONG and I don’t agree with it at all I won’t be ordering here EVER that left a bad taste in my month and I can’t respect that like just say you messed up and I’ll send you another one but now I don’t want anything I’ll just make my own at this point no body puts love into these restaurants anymore it’s all...

Well...after loving the food and returning several times my friend and I discovered that they over charge on their tacos. Unless you want to read EVERY SINGLE POSTER they have posted on their doors ( and there are many) you will get over priced for your tacos. After 11 am tacos are charged an additional 25cents( although already overpriced to begin with) But....if you pay with a debit/ credit card they post an addition fee on top of that taco AGAIN!! So a taco that started at 4.00 plus 25 cents ends up being 4.42 with the additional fee for not paying with cash. Let's not forget tax on that now. We mentioned it to our waitress and it was mentioned to us that the manager knew about it....that the manager didn't know how to fix the "glitch" on her register and therefore just leaves it alone. Normally our service is excellent but as many people know when it rains it pours. We had a waitress that came to our table once......that we ended up sharing our water. We called other wait staff for service. The waitress was nice not the best service. She even suggested that the manager should put a stipulation on the menu to inform customers being charged extra. But she kept reminding us that the manager knew about the overcharging and didn't want to do it. Will call BBB just to check if this is normal business practice. Unfortunately will miss their hot sauce and not going back. But I won't miss their decieving...

Usually this place is agreat place to go. When we have an event this is the place we gather afterwards. Love the food!! But this time I'm so hurt about the service we got today. I'm not even sure why we where treated this way. We went in ordered our food, we get our food and they give us plastic forks. I look around and we are the only ones with plastic forks. I don't mind plastic forks as long as everyone else got plastic forks also.But everyone else has silverware. People who were sat at the same time as us got a whole plate full of silverware. Why were we given plastic forks? I was going to say something but husband does like to say anything. He very reserved. Did they think I was going to steal the silverware or what. What do you think? Why give us plastic ware when they give everyone else silverware? I even checked when I left to make sureother tables got plastic ware but they all had silverware. I was really hurt. We eat there pretty much every week. I bring my freinds. I nrimg my family. My freinds think it was something else but I'm trying to tell myself that it was not the reason. Probably not going to go back. Even my freinds said they are done with place. I'm really sad. Also the prices are getting ridiculous! Seriously 20.00 for three tacos? Small tacos. 4.00 for ice tea. No...
