Throw this place into the mix. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience here. Upon entering we were warmly welcomed by the owner. He gave us a quick yet detailed tour of the menu. The housemade dough which includes the pizza and sandwiches really peaked our interest. We settled on a large Royal Pizza, Kebab Sandwich, and 10 Hot Wings. I asked for the housemade Tzatziki Sauce instead of ranch for my Baked Wings which was a stellar decision. I was also told if I wanted them hotter that wasn't a problem; I stuck with the original heat and it was just right. But if you like the fire I'd suggest asking them to kick it up a notch. Also the Wings were on the crispier side not mushy like some places. Just yum. My husband was thrilled with the Kebab Sandwich, comparing it to places in Europe. Something he has found very rarely in the country. To say he was excited is an understatement, his side of the table was pretty quiet as he finished the entirety of it. Expect to explain that when the bread isn't cut all the way through (an intentional thing) that all the sauce and most of the ingredients get caught in the end bread piece and it makes it good to the last bite. As you can tell there is no picture of the sandwich, there wasn't a chance. I did notice the ratio of meat and veggies was good. Some good sized chunks of Kebab in there. Now the Kebab Pizza was......also freaking delicious! Just enough red sauce with a finishing of the kebab sauce, nice amounts of meat and mushrooms and onions. There was a happy dance while eating my first slice. Just be careful on your first bites it is Hot. I was happily surprised that the slice held up, not too flimsy and not too thick; just a bit of droop in the middle. I know I will be enjoying the leftovers. I am Full but Not uncomfortable, that feeling how unhealthy food sometimes makes you feel. The seating is very casual and there are a couple tables outside. We sat inside next to the large window which you can see the green foliage. It made for a nice and quick date night that didn't break the bank. We saw some families with children; to go orders picked up and placed. One of the families had choosen to bring their Own Bottle of Wine since alcohol isn't sold. Which sounds like a great idea for next time! The owner was involed and hardworking, which made us feel taken care of. There currently is an I-Pizza special, a personal pizza with unlimited toppings for $9.99. Something that is not on the menu is housemade lasagna red and white, vegetarian and meat options. They also have a lunch specials which I've included in a picture. Btw photo of the menu I included does not have the updated price but that's pretty common right now. All in all we Will Be Back!

Royal Pizza: A San Antonio Gem Fit for Royalty (and Everyone Else!) Forget your fancy, overpriced pizza chains. If you're looking for a truly exceptional pizza experience, a hidden treasure in the heart of San Antonio awaits: Royal Pizza. From the first bite to the last, this place delivers a flavor explosion that'll have you wondering why you haven't been a regular for years. Let's start with the star of the show: the pizza itself. Oh. My. Goodness. This isn't your average pie. The crust, whether you choose thin and crispy or thick and chewy, is perfectly baked, providing a delightful foundation for their generous toppings. The sauce is clearly homemade, bursting with rich, savory tomato flavor. And the cheese? Melty, gooey perfection that stretches with every pull. But it's the quality of the toppings that truly sets Royal Pizza apart. Fresh, vibrant vegetables, flavorful meats, and a clear attention to detail in every combination. Whether you're a classic pepperoni lover or an adventurous gourmet, there's a pizza here that will absolutely knock your socks off. Honestly, I'd go so far as to say some of their creations are among the best pizzas I've ever had, anywhere on the planet. Beyond the incredible food, what truly elevates Royal Pizza is their exceptional customer service. The staff is genuinely friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. They go above and beyond to ensure your experience is nothing short of perfect. From taking your order with a smile to offering insightful recommendations, their diligence and passion shine through. I've had the pleasure of witnessing their dedication firsthand. They were patient with my indecisiveness, offered helpful suggestions when I was overwhelmed by the delicious options, and even accommodated a special request with a cheerful "of course!" It's clear they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in their work. Royal Pizza is more than just a pizza joint; it's a culinary experience. It's the kind of place you want to tell all your friends about, but also secretly keep as your own little hidden gem. If you're looking for phenomenal pizza, exceptional service, and a truly memorable meal, look no further than Royal Pizza. You won't be disappointed. In fact, you'll probably be planning your next visit before you've even finished your first slice.

Ordered a half and half medium pizza. Pistachio veggie/Meat lovers. Meat lovers is supposed to come with pepperoni, ground beef, sausage, salami, Canadian bacon. I only got pepperoni and sausage. They added toppings that aren't even supposed to be on what we ordered (olives, mushrooms, bell pepper). I was charged about $30 for what should've been around $20. The man also didn't tell me the total until after I payed. Cheese immediately fell off of pizza, took around 30 mins for them to make it AND THERE WAS NOBODY ELSE IN THE RESTAURANT. There is more mushroom and olive on the meat lovers side than meat. Do Not Recommend at all, overpriced, hidden fees, prices are very confusing. Pizza was comparable to a cheap frozen pizza. Crust was tough, very stale. Man with glasses was very nice he brought us a to-go box at the end, but the man who took our order was very rude, and looked pissed off the entire time. Gf liked her half though.

I failed to take pictures this time I usually like to when I make a review. The food is very good here the portions are average. And the quality of the food is also good. I know food prices have gone up more than we would like. But I still have a hard time paying the price for pasta. A bowl of spaghetti should never be over $10 but yet here we are paying restaurants on average 12 to $20 a bowl. But I guess my complaint is if we're going to pay in between that range. Should be a lot more like I said the portions are average but for price you pay I feel they should be a little bit more. Your lasagna is good but it's very small for $15.99. And your pizza is very good but I do have to admit I prefer the past owner because I do like the European style. That's a personal preference because your pizza is still very good. I just think your prices are set a little too high. And your stamp thing nice idea but when you come and spend over $70 I think you should be more than one stamp. If that's the case next time I'll just buy a soda and get my stamp. Now that being said. The quality of food is good quality it is not cheap quality you're going to like the flavor of his food. Their service is very good I've always been treated very well there. So this is not a negative review only thing that I find negative is the prices. And I know a lot of factors can come into play as far as the price. Definitely go here he does have wonderful food. It's just going...
