Albertaco’s Mexican Food — Restaurant in San Bernardino

Hello I don’t usually post reviews on food places but i had to post this one i just just passed by the area and seen a banner that they just opened and hands down they made the best Carne asada fries I ever had in my life! The staff was friendly and helpful I would highly recommend coming here for your Mexican food cravings will be coming back next time!!

Update on review: Me and my wife placed an order before closing for Carne asada fries and queso birria they got half of the order right as the queso birria was good and instead of getting carne asada Fries we got nachos with asada which isn’t that bad until I bit into the chips they were hard to bit into and we just ended up tossing them out all together. We called the next day to complain I was told from the lady to bring in the Receipt and they would take care of us. Later that day we ended up going up to the drive through and was treated like I did something wrong the First Lady I talked to told me to bring in the food next time which I could of Brought in if they told me too the 2nd lady with a septum piercing asked me what time I came in and I told her like 20mins before closing as stated on there hours online the two girls laugh and giggled in the back as soon as I got my food from the lady with a septum piercing in the back Smerked and both girls were disrespectful As soon as I’m off to the packing lot I checked my food they messed up my order again they ended up giving me nachos instead of fries again I just ended up tossing them away as I was afraid that they did something else to my order

Just left here to find out that my chicken enchiladas that i ordered were cheese enchiladas with cold cheese not melted and the corn tortilla was also cold. When I opened it up I noticed something small moving around so I was able to see it had bugs in it. I don't know what kind of bug so I called the phone number multiple time to ask for the manager and keep getting a person that didn't understand English telling me no manager. I tried to take a picture with my phone but you can't see it, it's to small and is kind of a clear bug. I don't fell that I need to drive back down there to resolve an issue that can be taking care of over the phone. I will never go back. Make sure to check your food before eating it or going through the drive thru and finding out later that your order is wrong or it has bugs. Good Luck if...

Been there 4 times now. It's becoming a go-to. The place is always clean and I always get friendly service. I seriously don't understand some of the bad reviews. The Papasitos place that was there before was absolutely horrible and the Salvadoran place a block away is even worse. This is the type of place you know is gonna be at the minimum decent every time. I know they open super early like 6 or 7 am and I hope they come up with a sign or something because I really like the place and I'm rooting for them to succeed. I've tried the enchiladas, California burrito, quesa birria, bean and cheese burrito and fries with adobada... I dont like the beans or bean and cheese burritos but everything else was awesome.
