Employees were not wearing their masks correctly. As San Bernardino and Riverside have the largest covid cases ... the fact that employees are not wearing them is gross. Not to mention I was waiting 20 minutes to get my food that was just sitting in the counter while the employees in the back just stood around. Also it gets worse. We ordered two bowls with chicken and avocado so we did pay extra for the avocado. When we got out food the employees didn’t tell us that they had to subsististe our avocado for more chicken they just gave us the food. We noticed there wasn’t any avocado when we got in the car and went back in the store to let them know there was a mistake. They said they just didn’t have any more avocado so I said I wanted a refund. They said they couldn’t because there was no manager on duty. I asked if they could replace the bowl with something else since I paid 12$ for the bowl of just rice and chicken which wasn’t worth it. They said it was okay and I was very happy to hear that. So I went to the car while my partner waited for for the food. The employees didn’t realize he was still in the store while they proceeded to bad mouth us and complain about us. I’ve worked in the food industry before so I understand that things come up (like running out of avocado) but for the employees to not be following safety protocol of proper food handling is just inexcusable. We didn’t even end up eating the food because the experience was so bad and instead gave the food to some homeless people. This has been the worse experience I’ve had with employees and food service.

Read moreHorrible customer service, the girl that was cashier in the morning on September 2nd 2023 never once smiled and once she came around to take my order she walks up and gives me a what do you want look. I came in smiled and said hello and proceeded to order brushing off the initial bad vibe. She didn't ask what type of rice I wanted or any of the typical Waba grill mantra that I am accustomed to as I eat Waba regularly. When she scooped up the white rice I asked If I could have brown rice, was met with another dirty look and body language she threw the rice back and scooped up the brown rice with the bowl. When I received my order I simply told her Thank you, and have a nice day. Was ignored, so I said thank you again and she finally muttered have a nice day. So much more I can say but this was the worst experience at a Waba grill I have ever had. Felt uncomfortable eating in the store. Cashier having a bad attitude towards us I have no idea what was her issue but whatever it was she shouldn’t be acting the way she did today. Never again going back to this place. Her attitude was really bad and on top of that we asked for extra waba sauce and apparently she couldn’t because they’re going to close. What???
