Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in San Bernardino

I came in to this Carl's. Tried the front door it was locked. Walked around opened door on side. Not one customer in there. Only an employee eating and an older woman I assume manager behind counter. Taking an order for drive thru. I asked the girl the combo to open the restroom since the doors were locked she looked at me like stupid. I repeated myself and asked don't you work here. The older woman came out I said I need to use the restroom she said Not until you buy something. I said I will I need to use the restroom now. She unlocked door..and I used restroom. I walked to counter..she asked what I wanted to order I handed her 1 $ thank her for letting me use the restroom. And said I don't want nothing but thank you she said well let me give you a cookie. I said no thanks I have medical problems I don't need that.. the bathroom was absolutely filthy and I'm sure I know why they're kept locked because of the homeless population is very bad and it's a very bad area at that Carl's Junior. But I'm not homeless. And if you're going to make it that extreme to be able to use the restroom please make sure it's cleaned. The place was filthy and I wonder what it to eat or drink anything from that...

Update review on 03/19/25 They have new servers and updated their service quality. The young girl at the register was very polite & well mannered. Listened to me very attentively and provided a great service. Also the service time was faster. The taste of the burger I ordered (Famous Star) was very good & I enjoyed every bite! Thanks management 🙏

*Updated review on 06/11/24 👎👎👎 the service and taste of food quality went way down. Taking down my review stars. The cashier lady was not attentive & service was too poor. Had to ask for napkins, sauce & water cups for several times. The cashier was very busy talking over her headset the entire time. Even the Burgers were made poorly..! Also the place lacks cleanliness. Won't come back here.

Old review One of my fav burger spot. So far the best among other nearby Carl's Jr. Either dine in or drive through, both fast & excellent service. Very friendly staff who provide best quality food & friendly customer services always with smile. I have 2 other Carl's Jr. Near my house but rather choose to come here for the well mannered staff...

The restaurant was dirty. The tables had not been cleaned off, and the floor had not been swept. I tried to use a reward through the Carl’s Jr. app in the restaurant, the cashier could not take the reward off of my order and then she called Manager over. The manager also said that they could not take the award so I had to pay full price for the order getting more points instead of being able to use a reward. There was a homeless man parading around in the lobby and helping himself to beverages. Instead of asking him to leave they let him parade around the restaurant never saying anything to him. The Man came over to my table and asked me for money and also asked me for a ride, I told him I couldn’t do either him to leave me alone and then he went up to the front counter and ask them for a soda and I won’t get into the details of how that conversation went. The burger and onion rings were very good, the restaurant however, was filthy. I used a couple of my napkins with some water to wipe off the tabletop so I could sit. I would never come back to this restaurant/the exact...
