I'm from Texas and I'm actually from a large city in Texas but we don't have any homeless people. I believe that the bus system enables homeless people to travel about and invade other areas. I live in Arlington Texas specifically and we don't have any homeless there at all yeah it's a city of 400,000 people. What I've learned after coming West from Texas into places like Colorado New Mexico Arizona Nevada California Oregon and Washington is that the bathrooms start becoming more and more restricted. What I mean by that is they will have locks on them they will have actual buzzers that an employee has to hit to let you into the bathroom or some keypad that you have to beg for the code for while they ask you are you going to buy something. I'm leaving this five star review for this IHOP because I had a nightmare of a trip from Texas and ended up in San Bernardino surrounded by homeless zombie addicts and other weird things. When I stopped at this IHOP I felt welcome. There were no locks on the bathroom there were no keypads there were no employees running security for the bathroom at all. I was able to walk in sit down order my coffee and my pancakes and go use the restroom without asking permission. I believe that that is the root cause of my anger at businesses not allowing people to use the bathroom at all much less if you're even a customer in these types of areas and the reasoning behind that is that I have to actually ask somebody permission to use the bathroom it's not can I have the code to the bathroom you mind if I get in the bathroom I feel like that I am not allowed to relieve myself without asking someone else's permission. This has been a long rambling review but I just want to stress again that they deserve the five star rating just for the fact that there was no lock on...
Read moreLet's start with the horrible waitress we had whose name was Collien. Boyfriend and I ordered the same dish, chicken fijita omelette and wanted everything on the side by this we meant the salsa, cheese ect we always order it like this at other locations and had no problems. She seemed confused so we explained but it still came wrong which wasn't the problem, everyone makes mistakes. What will make me not to come back is the way she talked to us when we told her it wasn't right and she got extremely rude. She didn't even want to take the dish back but then with attitude said "What!? You want me to take it back? Fine. " If you're a waiter and you make a mistake you apologize and that's it. We weren't mad that it came out wrong it was the fact that she was rude with us. Secondly, when the dish came back the toppings where just thrown ontop of the omelette not even made properly. I also told her from the beginning that I wanted my dish exactly the same as my boyfriends. Still they put sour cream all over mine and not his which is not "exactly the same" and then has the nerve to say "well you didn't tell me you didn't want sour cream so here." Being already upset about the service we received from her I just tried scraping whatever I could off. Our service and food were both less than acceptable. Never again will we come to this location. If I could give a -0...
Read moreThe food at this specific location was very good and very tasty. It's a definite A+. However, the atmosphere was NOT so good. Due keep in mind, we live in Southern California. Which means the weather here is INCREDIBLY bipolar! 🙄
When leaving my home this morning between 7:30-8am it was 64° degrees. Then approximately around 9:10am it went to 64° to 71° degrees.
When I arrived to IHOP for breakfast I remembered glancing at my dashboard, that read that the current outside temperature is now 74° degrees. So, I took off my jacket because I no longer needed it on. The weather outside I felt was decent and comfortable.
Tell me why, as soon as I open those double doors that lead you into the restaurant. I get hit in the face with extreme HOT heat!! I wanted to turn around and say F-it. But my daughter and I were both REALLY hungry. I would say it was a whopping 80°+ degrees in that restaurant.
I was dying!!! I was soooo hot and as I looked around. I knew I was not the only one.
Aren't your guest suppose to feel comfortable? I could only assume that the Manager working that shift was cold AF so everyone else had to suffer. Not cool!
If you run hot. Make sure to bring a table fan. Because the heat in there was over exaggerated for SoCal weather. That was ridiculous!!
Fyi.. Management.. please be mindful of your guest. Not everyone likes to feel that they're...
