Came to order food at 10:30 PM, store was closed inside so the only way to get food was via drive thru. We pulled up to drive thru and told the lady taking orders that there would be two different transactions-paying with two different payment methods cash and card. The lady working the window taking orders response was “we don’t do that here, we are too busy bye!”. We were very confused so we asked again and then she yelled and said “ we aren’t going to separate orders, now what do you want?!” We ended up leaving because we didn’t have enough on one card to order and went to jack n box where they were able to help us. I then later called the del taco just to clarify if that was a new policy or something new since we had always ordered there and it was never a problem before to separate the orders. When I called a lady answered the phone at del taco- I explained what happened at the window and she responded “yes it was me who you were talking to”(her name was Sylvia). Sylvia then told me they were busy and they were getting cars with meals that contained 6 or more items and it is too much for them to handle.
I as a customer find this absurd! I have been to many fast food places including this del taco specifically and NEVER have I had an problem separating transactions or ordering as much food as needed/wanted. I don’t know Sylvia’s position but its obvious that she is not able to handle the load or work professionally and had a severe lack of multitasking ability . She was extremely rude at the drive thru and also very rude over the phone when I called back to discuss the matter. Needless to say, I will still continue to go here so long as I don’t have to deal with Sylvia and her BS. I have never had an issue here and I will not allow Sylvia and her basic mentality attitude to tell me how much to order and when...
Read moreCame in to eat with my family and had to use the restroom. After ordering I asked one of the employees for the key to the restroom. In which he said there was only one key and someone was in the restroom. Told the dude thank you and proceeded to wait outside for my turn to use the restroom.he was understandably busy preparing food. After about 5 minutes of standing outside i started to doubt the vacancy of the restroom so went in and asked another employee(shawna i believe) Who was standing next to there little shift login computer or whatever (both staff members have been employed here for years) she told me the same thing and so i said thank you and waited outside. While waiting outside another few minutes i peeked in on my family sitting waiting for the food and a man comes walking in, so i hold the door open for him. This man comes walking out with the key to the restroom... Used it... and didnt even order food. Pretty lousy customer service. I understand its a little busy for being taco tuesday but as long as its not them standing out side like a dummy they obviously dont care. Ive been coming here for almost 8-9 Years, never acted out, not one of these bums out here and have never experienced such lame customer service. Ive never written a review in my life but this one urked me. Guess some people are satisfied with performing halfass at work to where they cant look down and see wether or not a keys right there. Never done anything to these people but obviously theyre biased about something... Wont be back all because of a simple request to use...
Read moreWorst management ever .!! Went in today 8/31 @6:30pm to pick up an online order worst mistake ever .!! They were not able to complete our order due to not having burgers and was just told that but nothing else . We were standing there asking how do we get a refund back or to cancel the order and no help from management, she walked away and continued to make food . After about 10mins someone finally stepped in a told us we have to do it on the app. But was not the manager.! Mind you there was No one was inside and maybe 1car in the drive thu , After we keep asking for a receipt and they kept refusing to give us one for proof we can in , but finally after another 10mins they finally gave us one .!! We also asked the manager for her name and she kept saying she don’t have a name then she said it was “Maria “ then we asked for the last name and she told us she don’t have a last name. One of the workers kept saying we don’t have to give you her name , just tell them it N/A .!! All this took over 30 mins and our little one was with us asking why they are being so mean , when all they could have done was give us a better explanation on how everything works from the start.
