Subway — Restaurant in San Bernardino

Horrible customer service and they take advantage of customers. I ordered a basic footlong roast beef sandwich, nothing special, and after I checked out, I noticed a discrepancy on the price. Menu says $10.99 and I was charged $13.99. I confronted the two workers after paying and reviewing my receipt and was told that they automatically charge for the “new menu” and for a deluxe garlic roast beef (which i did not order). I pointed to their POSTED menu to say that’s not what your menu says and the guy continued to justify that “you should have said in the beginning you wanted from that menu”. 😮 Like how was I supposed to know they would up charge me for something I didn’t order without TELLING me. I advised them that in the future they NEED TO TELL their customers and not assume we know of their unethical practices. The guy worker continued to justify saying that is just what they do now. Also I witnessed an interaction with a female customer before us and the girl worker told her “you need to tell us before next time”. Same as I was told. That awkward interaction made me pay attention when it was my turn. I didn’t realize it was the menu price they were manipulating. They took advantage of their customers and thankfully I could afford it but not everyone can, especially these days. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST BUSINESS. THEY’LL STEAL YOUR MONEY! Terrible customer service. My wife's aunt left her wallet there, It had $100 in it on a bench seat, she went back and asked for it, they would not even look for it, they wanted to see a receipt, the store was empty and it had only been 20-30 min. She did not save it so they would not look for the wallet. My wife heard this and tried to call the store They wanted to know what time she was in, what she ordered. We had been disappointed in this store near the Walmart before, but the Baseline and 5th St. were already closed. I ordered a tuna sub for my daughter. She likes lots of pickles, some peppercini, and tomatoes. I wasn't watching and asked if he put lots of pickles. He said, "I can give you some on the side". I replied, how kind, thank you. I took the bag to my daughter at home. The next day, she told me that this Subway put only one scanty scoop of tuna on the bread as compared to the normal three scoops the others use.
