Subway — Restaurant in San Bernardino

Worst experience ever! We spent over 20 minutes just waiting to order, and there were only 2 people ahead of us. One person was is 12, ordered a steak sandwich. However, the girl put a lot of pepper on the sandwich. So much pepper, my daughter couldn't eat it because it burned her mouth and made her eyes water. We took the sandwich back. We waited over 5 minutes just to be acknowledged. One girl was standing there eating gummy bears. One girl was making bread. And one girl was making sandwiches. My daughter, very nicely, told the girl her sandwich had too much pepper. The girl rolled her eyes, took the sandwich, walked away, threw away the sandwich, and without a word started to make a new sandwich. She put very little steak on it, like filed the scooper and then emptied part of it out, and threw the cheese on before tossing it in the toaster. When my daughter said, "excuse me, but it had extra cheese", the girl grunted and tossed cheese on. While waiting for it to toast, the girl who originally made the sandwich asked what was wrong. The girl then stated to mock my daughter. Then another employee walked over, and the two girls were laughing and making fun of my daughter. I was left speechless. My daughter stated to tear up. She held the crying in until we made it to the car. I still cannot believe how rude and inconsiderate the girls were. I'd love to give the names of the girls, but not a single one was wearing a name tag. I will never go back to Subway. My daughter was so upset she gave her uneaten sandwich to a homeless person. After being mocked and laughed at, she couldn't eat. The girls that work there should not be working there at all. If I was their manager they would be fired. Behavior like that should never be tolerated. Behavior like that does not belong anywhere. And no one should ever treat a...

My sandwich tasted not-so-great. The ingredient line is almost empty at 7 pm. My pretzel was salty. My food was prepared on top of the hole of the cutting board where they dump the food waste, so I think it is a public health violation. The board is very dirty. The gentlemen making my sandwich touched the fridge, the whole of the cutting board, the back fridge and the wall while getting ingredients from the back, with the same gloves. I didn’t say anything because I thought that the woman or the man in the store were gonna just refuse, so I let them do whatever they wanted to do.

The girl working today 11/2 at 7 pm is so rude. She can’t even work the line because she is complaining in the back saying that a customer is nonbinary and that she is allowed to refuse service. She is beyond mad and rude, and should know that the customers aren’t making mistakes like hers when she says she is short $1.60 in her cashier box. Very poor attitude, and IF I see her again I won’t let her do my sandwich for the rude, grandiose, and ridiculous comments that she made.

The atmosphere is ordinary. The store is in San Bernardino, so nothing excellent. For excellent ratings, I could talk of other stores. This one gets a 4/10.

I don’t understand how these food service workers can pass their interviews acting this way...

This is the worst subway ever. Walked in to subway, there is a girl just standing there with huge eyelashes, and then another girl comes out chasing a fly. The girl with the long eyelashes starts saying that the fly has been flying around for over one hour! The fly almost landed on my sandwich while the girl with the long eyelashes was just standing there waiting for it to land somewhere. The other comes around and smacks the fly on the counter big window and all I can see is the flys splattered guts in front of me on the window. Mind you, the veggies are right there nice and opened nothing covering them. All I can think and wonder is, if this would have been an online order these girls would have let this fly land on my sandwich and packed it. Went home wondering how many times this fly might have landed on someone else’s sandwich or the veggies or cold cuts. So gross. The environmental health department should surprise them one day.
