I’m very disappointed in the service I received today at Vicki’s. I have worked in the area for the past 17 years and have been a loyal patron of the restaurant. I have always had good food and good service until today. I ordered a large Greek salad no chicken and received a large container of lettuce, an onion, olives, 2 tomatoes, feta, no cucumber or bell pepper and 1 container of dressing. I have never received a salad from them in this state. I was asked if I wanted to speak to the manager and I said yes. All I wanted was my salad to come as I have always received it. The manger came and I asked her if I could have cucumber, bell pepper, onion and a few more tomatoes for my salad. She indicated the salad I received was how it normally comes and I needed to pay extra for tomatoes. I asked her to notice the difference in my salad and the salads in the window. They had everything I was asking for. The manger, Gina, then sarcastically informed me that she was the owner. She seemed to want to argue over the veggies in the middle of her rush hour. This was really disheartening. I was not asking for anything extra but I definitely did not want to pay $12 for a large box of lettuce. I did eventually received my veggies but Gina still wanted to discuss the matter further. I attempted to explain that I was not going to continue this discussion and when she refused to stop talking about it; I just walked away. Gina then turned to my co-worker and attempted to engage her in the conversation and was told to have a good day. I don’t mind paying for what I want but that does not mean I should accept just anything. The way this was handled by the owner was certainly unacceptable. I won’t be patronizing this establishment any longer. The whole ordeal was embarrassing and certainly...

We were in town for work and had about an hour to grab a bite, so we searched for a local spot and stumbled across Vicky’s—and I’m so glad we did. This place has that warm, diner-style charm, and the food tastes like something straight out of a home kitchen. There’s a real sense of nostalgia here.
From the moment we walked in, the service was incredible. The folks who helped us were so friendly and welcoming it honestly felt like they might’ve been the owners. They asked what we were craving, made thoughtful recommendations, and really took the time to make sure we had a great experience.
I ordered the breakfast burrito with steak, eggs, and potatoes—absolutely perfect. My coworker had the French toast combo, and he loved every bite. Everything was cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, and the quality was top-notch. I also couldn’t help but notice that every plate coming out of the kitchen looked just as delicious.
This place is an absolute gem. If you’re in the area and want a great meal with amazing service, I highly, highly, highly recommend Vicky’s. And if I’m ever back in San Bernardino, I’ll definitely be...
Read moreHad the Carne Asada Burrito. For the price, I think it was an excellent portion. Huge Burrito that was so full it was splitting open when eating it. Very messy, but delicious. Medium spice, all finely chopped meat and sauce with some onions and cilantro. Went through the drive thru around 3pm, there was a little bit of a wait, but not too bad. It was my first time there, so I can't speak for the burgers. But I will defiantly be going back.
EDIT: Went back to try the burgers. Had the avocado burger. It was very good. Lots of large chunks of avocado. The 1000 island sauce on the burger tasted similar to in-n-out's. The onion rings were good, but unsalted. Would have been great with ranch dressing. Also tried the taquitos (one order gives you 3 taquitos), deep fried and delicious. The guacamole was a little thin, but had great flavor. Also got a tuna melt & BLT for co-workers, they had no complaints. Everything came to about $20, which I'd say is a bargain for 3 sandwiches and 2 sides. And considering that there isn't a whole lot of Drive thru choices in the area, I think it's the best option for a good, quick, and fairly...
