Outrigger Tavern — Restaurant in San Clemente

You know for a place that boast about their delicious pizza and sandwiches, and for their bartenders to inform me that they serve frozen pizzas (and they are out of stock) is absolutely unacceptable. From the moment we walked into this place we were ignored. The bartender was only interested in speaking with their friends and serving their friends. There was no server on staff, no warm welcome, not so much as a check in to see if we needed anything. I understand that dive bars tend to have a reputation of being kind of dumpy, but that does not mean that your service, quality of food, and friendliness have to suffer. If there was a way I could give this place negative stars I would do it. In the end, we ended up leaving because it sucked so bad. No drinks no food no...

This place and Rachael (I believe is the really cool bartenders name?) Needs a heck of alot more recognition. I don't normally write reviews good or bad but I was truly wowed by this place. I was just looking for a simple and relaxed environment to have some drinks with my wife and had a terrible experience over at blooms Irish pub and walked on over to this place- outriggers and the bartender - Rachael immediately took care of my wife and I. Lisa Lisa Lisa!!! She simply makes you feel like you're the only one in the bar. The ambiance is amazing while you have a beautiful breeze coming through the outdoor patio area (that's my favorite part of the bar). There's billiards and a super fun lovely community that calls this place their local bar! Lisa knows what she's doing and her customer service speaks for itself.
