First, I'd like to say that the food was delicious. Very delicious.
But…
The service was atrocious. First, the Dr. Pepper was out. We were told that somebody would fix it, but 15 minutes later we were informed that they were out. And we were told that by somebody who had walked past us 10+ times during that 15 minutes. We were largely ignored at the expense of new customers ordering. They already had our money, so there was no reason for them to attend to our needs. They only focused on new people whose money they could take.
Also they ice machine was out.
While standing there waiting for the soda, I heard another customer ask for their food to be reheated, as it was cold. When I finally returned to my table, the three others in my party were talking about their food being a bit cold when served. About 15 minutes after their food was brought to us, I still hadn't received mine, despite order mine immediately after one of the other 3. I went up and asked about my food and after they asked the kitchen about it, I was informed that they would start cooking it right away.
When my food was eventually served, I did enjoy it. A lot. Until…I bit into a pickle that I asked to be removed from my order. Normally I wouldn't care about a simple oversight like that. But given the long list of other issues, they kinda lost the right to have a little thing overlooked. And a bummer for them was having the ONLY good thing they had going for them, the quality of the food, marred by a simple pickle that shouldn't have been there. I would give them another shot if going with others who decide on that place. But I have no intention of ever choosing to go...
Read morecame to San Diego from washington last week for bussiness. I was looking for a place that would offer me good customer service and excellent food. I looked on google and Anny's was one of my options, and so i decided to give it a try. I walked in, and the enviroment was good, they had really good music playing, the place seemed clean, and it smelled delicious. I looked at the menu, and finally decided what I wanted. This lady named Anna tooked my order, she had a really hard time understanding my order. I had to repeat myself several times. As I was hungry It was really frustrating wasting time repeating my order over and over again. She also seem to have an attitude towards me, like if I wasn't explaining myself. Even Ceasar from "Planet of the Apes" would understand better. I noticed other customers having the same exact problem. Overall my food was great, I would give the cooks 6 stars if could, but customer service 0 if could. Next time I come back to San Diego this is a place a will NOT be visiting again. Not because of the food, but because of the bad customer service. Now that I think about it McDonald's has given me better...
Read moreWe choose this place after looking at various reviews of other burger places. Staff was polite and helpful. The burgers looked great and the garlic fries were good. I ordered the bacon cheese burger and partner got the California burger. The reason I'm dropping one star is because they gave each of us the wrong burger. The cashier and the person who brought the burgers out were different. It was not until a third of the way through I kept asking my partner if she asked the guy which burger was each. Halfway done when my concern of we having each others burger grew stronger. We got the menu and saw that they served the burgers backwards. The burger was still good, but mine didn't taste like a bacon cheese burger. I kept tasting avocados. But my partner said it was right. Both had bacon but mine had alot less. I only got a few bite of my actual burger and you can definitely taste to bacon. I don't think we are going to eat here again. We were in the area for a sporting event.
After writing this, I kept telling myself why didn't we just go to Pho...
