I really really hate leaving anything less than five stars on a small business and it's generally my policy to just stay quiet if I have a bad experience. I was just pretty disappointed in my experience here.

This place has been showing up all over my tiktok and I was super excited to come try it. To start off with the positives, they have some really inventive drinks and it was so hard to choose just one. They also have water chestnut popping boba, which I've never seen anywhere else and turned out to be so good. The lady at the counter was so nice and helpful with deciding too. The decor is adorable and they had great business for a Monday. There was a bit of a wait but all the employees were really working hard to get orders out fast!

Onto my one big complaint. My friend ordered a drink with no ice and I ordered one with half ice. Both of our drinks came about three quarters full, which the barista told us was because we asked for reduced ice. I know it's become standard for some places upcharge for no ice, so maybe it's on me for not expecting this. But if we'd been told that it was going to be missing so much we'd probably have just asked for normal ice. Literally every single other person's drink came out filled to the top. I do feel like if I'm paying 8 dollars for one drink it's not crazy to expect it to be filled. At that price point it feels very penny-pinching and off putting to be getting something that looked like it was already half drunk. I was especially confused why my drink with half ice was missing as much as the one with no ice. I've bought so many boba teas at so many places in my life, always with half ice, and this was the first time this has ever happened, so it was a bit of a disappointment.

The drinks themselves were actually great and tasted delicious and very fresh. Again, I hate to give small businesses anything less than five stars, but it really was a bit of a bummer to watch everyone else get...

I’m not sure yet how I feel about this boba shop. Yes the decor and aesthetic is cute and the parking lot is big. Location is a bit further away from other main dining hubs.

I’ve been ordering through DoorDash for pick up so that process is convenient and my drinks are ready on time.

The drinks: Lucy Lou (OLGMT) Jasmine and oolong milk tea - this one the tea flavor was weak and barely noticeable

Heavenly Dragon (BSMT) brown sugar boba milk with cheese foam - the first time we tried this it was delicious! It was a perfect balance of sweet and salty, the brown sugar boba was soft and flavorful, and the brown sugar crunchy bits were a nice unique touch. The 2nd time we got this drink it was terrible: overly salty, bland boba, and not enough brown sugar flavor. We had to take it home to “fix” it because it was so salty.

Snow Goddess (honey jasmine milk tea with water chestnut popping boba) - this was just okay. Again the jasmine tea flavor is so faint you can barely tell it’s jasmine if you close your eyes. I liked the water chestnut popping boba for the crunchy texture but the bits are smaller than other boba shops (like 3CAT) that do water chestnut popping boba.

From the 3 my favorite was heavenly dragon but I’ll have to try it again to see the quality and consistency due to drastically different...

If you’re a fan of bubble tea, Boba Religion will not disappoint. Holding the cup with its simple yet elegant design, I was impressed right from the start.

Highlights: Drink Quality: I tried the “Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea” (as seen in the photo), and it was the perfect combination of rich brown sugar sweetness and creamy milk. The boba pearls were perfectly cooked—soft, chewy, and infused with a delightful caramel flavor. Smooth Cream Layer: The creamy layer on top was a big plus, adding a velvety texture and enhancing the overall look of the drink. Packaging Design: The logo is simple and cute, giving a friendly yet professional vibe. It’s an eye-catching detail, especially for younger customers. Cozy Atmosphere: While the setting in the photo looks a bit crowded, the shop still exudes a warm and welcoming vibe, making it a great spot to hang out with friends.

Downside: The sweetness level might be a bit strong for those not used to brown sugar. However, the shop allows you to adjust the sweetness to your preference.

Conclusion: Boba Religion not only delivers delicious bubble tea but also offers a delightful experience, from its presentation to its ambiance. If you’re in San Diego, make sure to give it a...

I was charging my car at the charging station. Their restroom is not open public. I understand it there is a lot of expense for them to run a store. However, I just need to use the restroom real quick, but I forgot to bring my wallet. Thanksful the lady let me to use the restroom. It should be a couple running the business. The man spoke me very rude and told me, "Do you know how much rent I m paying to run the shop?" Honestly, even he did not tell me that. I will buy a drink after I get my wallet. When I got my wallet and tried to buy a drink from them. The lady said I refuse to do your business. I have no idea why they did that to me? The owners are Chinese, and I m Chinese, too. Even if I go to any store, ask for a use restroom in that situation that won't be a problem. Why Chinese cannot help Chinese? Why did they treat customers like this way? Do you really happy to humiliate your customer? Very sad. I should give 1 star for what happened to me. However, you allowed me to use your restroom and "no purchase." I cannot rate you 1 star for that. I rate you 5 stars for your kindness. God bless your Boba shop.
