I arrived at about 7:40am on a Tuesday morning and the open sign was not on so I started looking for hours of operation posted somewhere on the front door or window, and I could see three employees inside. One of them immediately turned on the open sign and the door was unlocked so I went in and asked if they were open. There were two cooks in the back and one employee working the register in the front. The employee working the register looked back at the cooks and then turned around to me and said yes. Read moreOn 6/12/24, my boyfriend purchased 5 rolled beef tacos & a carne asada with beans burrito. While eating the last taco, I choked on something. After examing the taco, I pulled out a large piece of wax paper. This is the 2nd occurrence. The 1st time my boyfriend experienced the same thing while eating beef enchiladas. I contacted the restaurant & spoke to Omar, who claimed to be the manager, but then indicated that he was the owner. Omar said that there had been another incident prior to our experience. I told Omar that he should eliminate the wax paper if it has happened several times already, but he said he would talk to the cooks. I told him that the next person might not be so lucky, but he wouldn't change his mind. He told me that I could either stop going there or request no wax paper, which he claims is what the person with the 1st incident does. He said he would refund the entire order, but is keeping...

"Yes" and then she deadface broke it down for me, she could see my astonishment and she then just stared at me. I payed grabbed the food and left that place for the very last time. Never again! This was 2 weeks ago. I toiled with writing a review because I do not ever do that. We had just returned from a beach hike and were seriously too tired to cook. You and your business gauging people who are encouraged to support local restaurants in a time of need. I have been a patron of this restaurant for 8 years now. Lived in Tierrasanta for 5 months and the sad thing is I really liked the food here. They will never get another dime from me. It is so disappointing. Trying to feed a family of 5 and to be treated in this way...
