Today, I had one of the worst customer experiences I’ve had yet. I sat down and heard “Andrea” called, so I got up and grabbed the drink. One of the workers immediately snapped at me and told me it wasn’t mine and to give it back. Okay—honest mistake, but the way it was handled was unnecessarily rude and awkward.
Then while I sat back down waiting for my actual drink, I could hear them talking shit about me behind the counter. I clearly heard, “How does she think hers is ready already? I can’t make stuff that fast,” along with more passive-aggressive comments while I was sitting right there. Like I couldn’t hear them.
This is not the first time the staff at this location has been rude, but today was the last straw. I don’t know if it’s the current generation of workers or lack of training, but the customer service has gone completely downhill. I don’t even go to Starbucks regularly anymore—I go to Coffee Bean 90% of the time. I only stop by this one when it’s convenient, and even that’s starting to feel like too much.

Read moreI frequent this location a lot especially since the one went out at the Vons. For the most part it's a great location and the crew inside is awesome. Today completely frustrated me. I order a peppermint white mocha Frappuccino with coconut milk. Since it's been taken off the menu the easy way, us customers have to order a different way and now the baristas have to really look and read it. When I know it's made wrong from the look of it, I ask the guys to remake it. Today I walked in and it looked like a glass of milk. I can't drink milk. It makes my stomach hurt. I knew immediately it was wrong. I got their attention and the team knew it was wrong, the gal who made it, kept saying she made it right.
Instead of remaking the whole drink she added a pump of coffee base. It still looked pale... Just remake it. I can't taste the coffee at all. I didn't have time for it to be remade a third time. Read moreI was very disappointed with my visit today. I felt discriminated against due to my age and not taken seriously despite being a respectable paying customer. After ordering my drink I and a group of friends were asked to step outside due to the crowding in the building. We complied with no complaints whatsoever. My friend and I instead waited outside for our other friend to receive her drink, standing at a table with no chairs because there was none provided by the establishment, yet we were met by another employee asking us to leave despite purchasing a drink. He explained to us how “Middle schoolers and High schoolers lost their privileges here” despite being paying customers. If this is the case I believe there should be a sign posted displaying this information to avoid this confusion.
