Dine With Orcas — Restaurant in San Diego

Our experience was dampened by the service provided by the hostess, Yohiara, and server. We arrived 30 minutes early because my child has sensory issues and we requested a corner table. Tables were empty, no one was seated of as yet. The server refused to accomadate, despite seeing our son visibly distraught as people began to sit down around us. But i think the worst issue was their lack of care for people with allergies. Our children have food allergies and neither were helpful. We were laughed at by our server,Adam, since there was nothing our children could eat with their nut and berry allergies. I asked to speak to someone knowledgeable, three times, but no one ever came. I think seaworld should be more attentive to its disabled community. Thankfully our children appreciated the show and were not focused on not being able to eat. Seaworld should properly train their staff to deal with...

Some things to consider: don’t buy tickets to this last minute because you won’t get seats by the glass and you’ll be constantly shifting to try and catch a glimpse of the orcas around all the people in front of you. They’ll try to tell you that every seat is a good view but that’s a lie. I saw nothing but the back of some woman’s head.

The food isn’t terrible but, it’s not great. Everything is overcooked. The fresh fruit was very good. You’re going for the show which is why you should get a refund if they won’t seat you by the glass. Getting two glasses of water and a coke took forever. Maybe bring your own bottled water in.

The whole show thing lasted

We have been approximately three times over the past year, and have enjoyed every single time.

We thought that the food and services were very good, including the salmon. We also liked the fish fillets, macaroni and cheese, tortellini, broccoli, cheese cubes and charcuterie board.

In addition to the food, there was of course the show with the trainers and the orcas. It was amazing. EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! Even when the orcas didn’t really want to participate, they still were entertaining!!!
