Giant Pizza King - Linda Vista — Restaurant in San Diego

I placed an order for over $40 of food to be delivered, expecting something special because of the 4 1/2 star-rating. I only live a mile and a half from this business and it took over an hour and twenty minutes to arrive. When it did, the pizza was cold and not completely cooked, some of the order was incomplete, poppers were burned and do not come with fries as advertised, the "Greek" salad was not Greek, but a cheap garden salad and arrived with no dressing. When called about the missing items, the person who answered was rude and all he had to say was, "What can I do?" Apparently, nothing. Will never buy from them again and definitely do...

I've passed by the Giant Pizza King, running the streets of LV these past few years (!!) and can't believe I have never eaten there...until today. I will say it was worth the wait and is now in the top two of my list for local pizza. The pie was cooked well and had a wonderful texture. The toppings were generous portions - more than I expected tbh. The sauce - I can only imagine that it is a homemade recipe - it was flavorful and had the right amount of spices. Twice now we have ordered through grubhub. Twice now they have received the order, we’ve waited over an hour, called them, they said they never received the order and that they are closed and that they won’t be delivering the order. Both times, we’ve checked and they were still open. I can’t comment on the food because I’ve never had it.

Update: After saying they couldn’t help us, we called grubhub to get a refund. Another hour and a half later someone from the pizza place showed up at our door with the pizza we had ordered 3...
