This by far the best Jack n the Box in San Diego. As most people have experienced, sometime when going through drive through, an order can be missing or not exactly how it was ordered. This happened before and I provided feedback via there website. Within 24 hours, I received an email from the Franchise owner apologizing and saying that he will fix the issue and sent me and us some coupons. He also followed up to ensure everything went ok the next time we went. As far as food quality, the food always comes out fresh, hot and doesn’t have the “sitting for a long time” or “reheated” taste to it. They definitely put forth the effort regardless if they are busy or it’s the middle of the night to keep quality a top priority. Customer service by far is second to none, the managers there are always friendly and I can see their high standards by the way all the staff there interacts with customers. Veteran friendly. Without even asking, I went there while I was still on active duty and they told me about their Military discount. After retiring, I went there and the manager remembered me and reminded me of the discount is for...
Read moreUpdate- it is May 2019 now, and I'm a bit depressed with finals coming up. Seriously, I need to pass these classes!!!! Arg! Anyway, I went to the drive thru, because quality of food here is good. And ordered an Oreo Cookie shake. Standard fare for sure. Ice cream to beat the blues, right? Lady at the drive through must have heard my depression as she handed me the sake with huge amounts of whip cream over flowing the container and TWO cherries!!!! Yeah, I will keep coming back. They take care of the customers. 😁 So, up front this is not the cleanest location. Door is dirty, counter is dirty, bathroom was disgusting. (Why do people leave puddles at the floor near the toilet, can't made the bowl?) But! The service is quick- staff are friendly- and the fish sandwich combo is hot and delicious! Great amount of tartar sauce, this ain't dry. I love it. And they have a Coke machine. Not bad, though I think I will stick to drive through next times...
Read moreWe just went last night to get my husband an Oreo shake. Service was disappointing. When he ordered his shake on the call box, there was a long pause. So we thought the employee didn't hear him. We've both been sick, and Scott's voice is just starting to come back, so he ordered it again in case his voice was too raspy to understand. The order taker replied with a sarcastic, "I heard you the first time." This was really disappointing. I don't know if this was her fault or a lack of training as she could have initially replied with ok, thank you or ok, anything else, etc... When we got to the window we saw that she was taking the orders as well as taking the payments and giving people their orders and we never could tell if she was talking to us or to the person placing the order. Hopefully, this can be resolved to prevent this from happening to others. We have choices when it comes to anything, and we're not sure we'll be back here for a shake...
