I would've left zero stars if possible. Waited more than 30 minutes for a party of 3. The waitress brought our food and forgot about the 3rd person in our party with zero regards. We assumed she'd be back with his food but never returned. After 15 minutes, we had to look for her to ask about his food. Her response was "oops I forgot. If you still want it it's gonna take like 30 minutes" uhm are you serious? That's all you have to say? She didn't even offer to give us a discount or even an apology. In San Diego, there are literally a million options for seafood. But this place is NOT it. The food was alright, not bad but not "let's wait 30 minutes and be treated by staff with zero customer service" good. I'm sure y'all know of those places, where the customer service sucks but the food is bomb so it's okay...well this place isn't good enough to lack customer service. Guys seriously, take my word and go...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is amazing! We stood outside by where you order to go and had no idea that they had a dine in area. My friends who live in SD go here a lot so I had to try this place. The girl saw that we were a little confused and let us know that they had their dine in towards the back. She was very nice! Then we sat down we had another lady help us and she was very nice as well. She offered us more tostada's and always had a smile on her face. Whenever I come down to SD again I will make sure to stop by. This family own restaurant is amazing! Will be recommending this restaurant to all my friends in SD who haven't tried it. Thank you for the delicious mariscos! Also as a plus outside in the dine area they have a huge avocado tree that gives the entire area some nice shade! It's so cool to be sitting up and look up and see some avocados...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLoved this Mexican seafood restaurant, it's more of a traditional "marisqueria" or "cokteleria" which only offers cold seafood dishes. Prices are below what other restaurants or even food carts charge, probably to compensate for the neighborhood. Minus 1 star for limited parking and gauntlet of homeless on the way to restaurant. Once there you might get confused by place being an actual house, but there are signs outside. Once you find your way into the eating area you forget the urban plight and literally eat in a tree shaded backyard patio which I thought was awesome. The food was super fresh and tasty, we tried a little bit of everything for first visit and didn't regret it. They don't sell alcohol here, ask servers for...
