Overall: This is my second time eating here and since then, it has expanded to a bigger location. Limited parking lot but there are street parking. Food is ALWAYS delicious but expect family business like service...somewhat slow...since they only have one server. +1stars Food: +1 stars Empanada: Me and friends ALWAYS get this! So good when it comes out crispy and great dipped in sauce :) Arepa con queso: Fried cheese..who knew?! Next time, im gonna get it with carne asada. I want more flavor in my fried cheese...but the layer of crispiness... Tomato Onion steak: Personally, not my favorite. Carne Asada steak: MY FAVORITE!! The beans were flavorful (meat is dry but delicious!) and the yucca patty was a great touch!! Service: At any family restaurant with limited staff members, service is slow. However, the staff are super nice :). +1stars Price: Worth it!! Lasted me 2-3 meals for an entree haha +1stars Location: Limited parking lot but plenty of street parking. I love how the store has moved to a bigger location. The old space was a little cramped for all the customers they were getting! There's still a couple of things they still working on, but I love the indoors. +1 stars

This is my second time here and I came back for a reason. Good atmosphere, quick service, youll see colombian news and games on the tvs. Its a sweet love letter to colombia. I tried their main dish which is the paisa combo, had 2 large steaks, rice, chicharon, sausage, eggs, arepa, and a plantain. You cant go wrong if youre hungry. Its economic compared to other breaksfast places or around the same price. They have many colombian sodas so if you like root beers its quite a taste. Great place for breakfast, would love to try more on their menu. Get to know colombian food, its worth the shot.

I have been trying out restaurants in my new San Diego neighborhood, so I tried Antojitos Colombianos. I had no idea what I was ordered and was pleasantly surprised when this huge plate of food came out! The meats were all delicious, sausage, carne asada type cut and pork/ smoked bacon kind of cut. All were very flavorful! Add in egg, cornmeal cake, rice, beans and plantains...and this was a hearty meal!! Service was great and the place was full of things to look at. I'll be back to try another type of meal soon. If you find this review helpful please like it.

Okay soooo I am visiting San Diego and as a Colombian I like to try the local spots whenever possible - I was disappointed and I’ll explain why. Me friend and I both got sancochos and I understand depending on what part of Colombia you’re from the flavor will vary but this is was not a Colombian sancocho - it wasn’t bad but it was made with pork and it completely overpowered the flavor. It was giving more Vietnamese than Colombian tbh. We also got a papa rellena which wasn’t great .. usually they are made with beef and a rice stuffing this one was literal arroz con pollo with an egg - it was wild. The empanadas were really good, the service and presentation of the actual dishes were great. Maybe I should’ve gotten another dish I don’t know - unfortunately, this was my experience. If you’re gonna order what I did ask to make sure they have chicken and/or beef options for the soup. In addition to the presentation and service being great the best part is that they have parking! I would say try this place out but maybe go with other things that I...

I had a highly disappointing experience here. I had a chicken and rice dish and my friend had the same. I was embarrassed truly I brought my friend here. I thought we would try new food ans this place seemed decent rating but it wasn't reflected in the plates served that day. They had good prices but tbh in our opinion the food was awful. The chicken was dried out and the rice was excessively salty. I ended up just throwing the rest I had left away in the trash. Also, the waiters paid minimal attention to our table and many times if we needed anything we had to flag them down. So, overall we had poor service and unappetizing food. Most importantly my friend and I got ill the very next morning and the only new thing was this meal. So, we strongly concluded that we got food poisoning from this restaurant. We both had upset stomach and I was having additional bathroom related issues. NEVER AGAIN! I regret that...
