5 stars I used to come to Imperial Express all the time after college, and after all these years, it’s still just as amazing—if not even better. The orange chicken is next level—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The service is always friendly and fast, just like I remembered. It’s a true hidden gem that stands the test of time. Bring cash, eat well, and leave happy. Highly recommend! Muy rico 🤘🏻🙏🏻gracias!

Orange chicken’s crispy with a fun cinnamon/brown sugar twist. (just a little too on the sweet side.) Chow mein is legit For $11+ though, the portions feel a bit small. Panda Express gives you more for less, and even throws in a fortune cookie. This place is cash only and skips the cookie, but still a good spot overall. Just bring cash, and maybe a snack for later. Overall: ITS AIGHT.

I tried this place based on reviews. I should have listened to the 1 start review before mine. The Orange Chicken was hard as a rock. There was virtually no chicken, and all crispy outside. The Fried Rice was bland, and the Chow Mein was just gross. The Veggie Rolls were soggy. I wouldn't recommend this place. We'll stick with Panda Express.

came here on the recommendation of a friend. prices are excellent, and the food was very good....orange chicken was some of the best i've ever had anywhere. kung pao chicken, chow mein, and egg rolls were also very tasty. 👍 interior is small and sparse, but clean and tidy. the asian couple, that i assume are the owners, were quite nice. parking lot is terrible. it's way too tiny for the number of shops/customers and apparently 99% of the people that frequent that small strip mall have absolutely no idea how to drive or park. 😐 despite that, i would...

Mediocre Chinese food located in barrio Logan. Extremely limited parking lot spaces. Average portions for the price. Sweet, bready crispy orange chicken, chow mein, good fried rice, mushroom chicken, beef and broccoli with more vegetables than meat, , bbq chicken, etc. food seems to be prepared often and not sitting too long. They overcharged me then acted as if it was my fault. Rude, rushed service. You really get what you pay for here including...
