I’ve been coming to Ryan Bros for about a month now and It’s difficult for me to express just how great this place is. But I will certainly try my best.
Long story short, I lost my home and business last year and decided to back pack my way to a new life. Backpacking can be both adventurous and dangerous at times but the biggest obstacle I’ve had so far is keeping my phone and charger pack charged on a regular basis.
So Ryan Bros was a perfect fit since I can get my morning coffee and breakfast burrito while having enough time to charge my devices for the day. During my short time as a customer I quickly grew (and continue to grow) to love this place. Not just for the coffee and fully charged phone, but for the awesome family that owns this place as well as the friendly and kind employees who have made this coffee shop into a memorable experience on my adventure.
After a few days of being absent from Ryan’s (since I was working a temp job) my return today was met with friendly smiles, conversation and questions about my adventure. I bought my coffee (just a coffee) and shortly after sitting down was hand delivered my usual chorizo Mexicano breakfast burrito without even expecting or asking for it. It was given with a friendly "it’s on the house, nice to see you again!”.
It’s not often you experience such kindness and thoughtfulness these days. I go forward not expecting free burritos but optimistic that I found awesome people running an awesome business who earned my customer loyalty and friendship...
Read moreThe coffee was fine, don't get me wrong but this place needs to work on their customer service skills. All I wanted was a cup of coffee with my lunch but I only get half an hour for my meal. I arrived around 1:25pm and there was a total of three people inside the place who had already been waited on. I walked in at the same time as another customer and together we waited for a good seven minutes just to be acknowledged. We thought we'd be acknowledged after talking to each other about what was on the menu or if either of us had been there before. It was our first visit to Ryan Brothers (and after this visit, I think it will be my last). When the gentleman behind the counter finally turned around, he merely looked at us and turned around again. After another couple minutes, the associate finally took our order and waited 12 minutes until he got around to making my coffee. He acted as though placing an order was an inconvenience to him and didn't seem like he wanted to wait on us. Would it have hurt to at least say "oh, hi ladies, I'll be right with you" and then finish whatever you were doing, even if it was just staring into space? Even though the coffee was good, waiting almost my entire half hour lunch for it by someone who couldn't have the decency to say hello or thank you...
Read moreIt was my first time coming to this location to try the coffee, initially ordered a cold brew and two Mexican mochas one of them decaffeinated, after waiting for a little bit I received the two mochas and I grabbed the cups just to realize that there was no markings on the cups stating which was decaf, so I went back and asked the girl at the counter who greeted me with a huge eye role, and a generic answer just pointing at a random cup, I walked away still not knowing if she was correct or not, my intention wasn't to make a scene, so now I still do not know which one is the correct coffee decaffeinated, and the person who was expecting that coffee now I'm going to have to tell her that they messed up the the drinks, the coffee is not that great either if you're in the area looking for great coffee there is Cafe Moto 5 minutes away from this location and the service, coffee and desserts are 100% recommended! Went here due to a friend's recommendation, just to be really disappointed with the service I would think that it's common sense to Mark the cops to know...
