Cesar Chavez Park — Attraction in San Diego

This is one of the most beautifull and rich culturally and dynamic urban parks in the city, the state, and the country. The heritage culture that Chicano Park holds in its true Nature of his spirit, is a gift to every one. The epic and historical birth of the mexica/mexican/and chicano culture can be found under the east skirts of the Coronado Bridge, That is too say, "under the bridge" portray on breath taken mural, filled with colors, passion, history love and struggle that spell's its own history in colors. Chicano Park is welcoming to all people. Always shareing its art and love. Chican park is inclusive. United and commited. A must too see in San Diego check list. #SanDiegocity...

Got punched a few times by some Latino claiming some affiliation to a Logan Heights gang while napping in the park. There was a shooting just before that though. At least I didn't get shot in the leg so that's cool. During the day, the park is very family friendly and pleasant. I just wouldn't hang out there late especially if you're not familiar with the locals. Overall beautiful art, community feel, and family-oriented which is really nice and someone surely missing in a lot of American culture. It's just a shame it comes at the cost of some violence though. The park does have plenty of memorials so be careful to mind where you walk and respect...

So it's my first time going to this park...a whole bunch teenagers just hanging around smoking perhaps drinking. Perhaps ditching School... Also there was a lot of car activity traffic cars parked around I'm sure because of the warehouses which really just made me not want to come back to this park The little playground area had one slide couple of rock Boulders for the little ones to climb.. one of them was broken it has four swings overall for a quick little play time was fun for the KIDS.... Will I be going back to that park No thank you. So much has to...
