It’s 12:46 pm and 8 minutes on a Monday. Yes, that’s the time it took to get my order at the Outer Rd In&Out location. From the minute I placed the order with the drive-thru guy, up until I received the order at the window (burger and fries). Both window staff were friendly and polite, from beginning to end. The two didn’t sound rushy or exhausted. Exceptional service. I had to ask for the store manager, just to let him that his window cashiers showed great customer service and care. The hamburger and French fries were good. No complaints here compared to the Clairemont Mesa location (hamburger bun was hard). Outer Road location has got to be the best looking landscape in South Bay area, so far. The palm trees, succulents, and the overall dry scape image makes the drive thru a scenic experience. Important to note, at the beginning of the parking lot entrance, one can easily miss the turn into the drive thru entrance, which leads to the drive thru itself. Pay attention. Way glad that Outer Road location opened up in my neighborhood. I use to take an 8-mile drive out to get to the next closest In&Out location, in National City. Recommend Outer Rd location 👍🏼

Usually every In-N-Out repeats your order. I repeated my order back to both workers who took my order and money. I made sure there was no onions. They told me no onions. I get my cheeseburger with grilled onions and mixed with the cheese. Paid more for something and they got it wrong. Twice. I also asked for only 1 tomato which I always do. And there were 2 tomatoes sogging up the burger. Nice new place but I literally ordered one burger and they screwed it up. I tried eating it but can't stand the taste of onions. Spent 10$ for fries and coke. The receipts don't even say no onions but they told me it was. If they messed up, ok. But this seems like they don't care.

Pro tip!!! Don’t get in for the drive thru line if you’re in a rush. Took almost 40mins to get my food on a Saturday. The drive thru line is well hidden, it seems short but it wraps around the building. The guy who took the order helped me discover the “mustard fried patty” option which I applied it to my “Flying Dutchmen”. The food was good and the guy was really patient at the drive thru. Ask and you shall receive! So don’t forget to ask for the exact amount of ketchup and dressing you want! Glad they have one closer to my house now so close to Imperial Beach. Park and take out if you’re in a hurry. There was no line on a Saturday!

Every time I walk into this in n out I see all employees with a smile, greeting the customers, opening our doors, keeping the restaurant clean and stocked. Today on New Year's Eve, Mario made a lasting impression, he opened the door for me without hesitation, greeted me with a smile, continued cleaning. Then on my way out he opened the door for incoming customers with a beautiful smile. Then when I got to the register, Adrian was very friendly when taking my order. He was professional while being personable. I didn't catch the name of the employee who gave me my order but he was very attentive and asked if I needed anything else. On my way out another employee was taking out the trash and was gracious enough to take my trash so I didn't wait till he put a new bag in. I'm so happy this new location opened up by my house. My food is always served promptly, warm, correct, and with a smile. Thank you for making my experience...

I've only recently moved to California so decided it was time to try my first in-and-out burger today. I ordered a double-double with fries, this is my take away from my visit. Good points, small menu, only 4 items on it, burger, cheeseburger, double-double (double cheese burger) and fries. The burger where fine, it's a burger place, there not great, but there not bad either, The bad, avoid the fries at all costs; it will bring you nothing but sadness and disappointment. I had had the pleasure of watching them cut the fries and deep fry them. As a person who loves french-fries I was really getting excited to eat them. However, when I finally got them they where complete let down. I'm not sure if they are not cooking them long enough, or both. However the fries where just a soggy mess. This alone will most likely stop me from ever going back to another in-and-out burger and leaves me wondering why these places...
