Joyee Dumpling House offers a versatile menu with lunch and dinner options on weekdays, and special breakfast items on weekends. Located in a cozy plaza, it has both indoor and outdoor seating, providing a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. It's quite popular—I had to wait about 15 minutes for my pick-up order, which speaks to its demand!

One of the highlights is the Jian Bing, a traditional Chinese pancake. You can customize the spice level to your preference and choose from various add-ons like lettuce, pork sausage, and marinated beef. It’s a perfect blend of flavors and textures.

The Henan Fried Buns are another favorite—soft, doughy buns filled with pork, offering a satisfying bite with crispy base. Pair them with soy sauce and vinegar for an extra kick.

If you eat at Joyee, beware. The price of the item on the menu is not the actual price of the item. When you get your check, you will see they have automatically added 15% to the total price (I'm not talking about gratuity, which they ask for separately.) So that $15.99 Fried Shrimp on the menu ... is actually $18.39. I wouldn't blame them if they need to raise their prices, but this was sneaky. The bottom of your receipt will say, "FOR DINE IN A 15% SURCHARGE WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR BILL TO DEFRAY THE INCREASED COSTS OF WAGES AND BENEFITS." I added my own 15% tip in the separate place provided, on top of their 15% surcharge, because I didn't want the workers cheated. Owner, as I said, if you need to raise your prices, all good. But don't resort to this...

We arrived about 7:20PM on a Tuesday night. Once walked in, the waiter informed us that the restaurant would close at 8PM and order first before the kitchen closes. Appreciate the heads up.

We got an order of each: eggplant with Szechuan sauce, XLB, walnut shrimp and a bowl of rice. The food was delivered to table pipping hot. Walnut and shrimp were fried crunchy. Eggplant was seasoned and cooked well with spicy sauce. Portion was good.
