Kelly’s Pub — Restaurant in San Diego

We were visiting from Dallas, TX and met up with some friends in Rancho Bernardo. We called ahead to find out when the kitchen would close, since we were looking for a place to eat. Trevor answered and was super friendly. We had a great meal for a party of five: a couple of club sandwiches with onion rings, beef brisket, bbq burger and a basket of fries. The food was good and hot, and the beer was cold. There were a couple of tables to eat outside. There were several pool tables inside, and it appeared to be a locals hangout, nice atmosphere. Trevor was the host, bartender, and server. Did it all in a very friendly manner. I offered to help him out, but he cheerfully declined. I thanked the cook, and was grateful that she kept the kitchen open for us. Nice, tucked away spot, with great food...

Great owners and staff make this little dive bar a perfect hang out spot for liquid lunches or post work get togethers. There's pool tables, darts, lots of TVs for sports, and most importantly a great selection of domestic and craft beers. Trevor keeps a couple of taps constantly rotating and he regularly pours one of my favorites, Wolf Among Weeds from Golden Road Brewing. They have a surprisingly good array of food, ranging from bar food, to sandwhiches and burgers, but I usually get the mixed greens salad with chicken breast on top. It's a large bowl of greens with apples, cranberries, almonds, blue cheese and a balsamic...

This is a must visit place to enjoy your favorite brew and relax with friends. Under new management who go out of their way to make sure you have a great customer experience every time you visit. In line with this caring attitude, the owners have put in place a new VIP loyalty program to reward all their customers. Be sure to take advantage of the easy check in at their kiosk when you arrive. Lots of new additions to keep you entertained. Two pool tables, dartboard and shuffle board on the way. Watch your sporting events on numerous flat screens through the bar as you enjoy one of my favorite items on the menu...the tacos. They are...
