We were originally sad that Soi RB closed down, but now super happy and thankful to have Thai2You as it is now our favorite Thai restaurant in San Diego!
FOOD: Authentic and delicious! They also have dishes that most Thai places in town do not serve (ex. khao soi, boat noodles, nam tok, larb, etc.). Their boat noodles taste just like what we've had when we visited Thailand few years ago. We often see Thai people coming to Thai2You just to get their boat noodles - this is how you know their food is legit and delicious! Our favorites include: crab fried rice (they put TONS of real crab meat in there!), drunken noodles, Chinese sausage fried rice, pad thai, nam tok with beef, tiger cry steak, pad kra pao, etc. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu! They also serve the biggest cup of Thai tea in town - and you can ask them to adjust the sweetness level!
SERVICE: Their main waitress has amazing customer service. She is super friendly, quick, attentive, and great at giving recommendations for...

While the food is decent we were quite disappointed to arrive at 8pm when they close at 8:30 to be turned away to eat at the restaurant. We were told they close the kitchen at 8:10 and we could only order to go. While we have been there before the food is not good enough to have someone turn you away a half hour before the posted close time. Because we were turned away we went to another Thai restaurant down the street and found not only a much better experience but better food. This lack of discretion has not only lost them a customer but we will make sure to let all our friends in the neighborhood know there are better choices with restaurants that value their customers in the same proximity instead of a restaurant that turns customers away a half hour before their posted close time. ...
Read moreA hidden Thai place that hits the right spots for a delicious lunch and dinner venue. We had heard some great things about this local Thai restaurant and decided to give it a shot and it more than lived up to the hype! The ambiance is simple and decorative and sets the tone. We ordered off the lunch deal portion of the menu, but the rest of the menu covers everything you could want from a Thai place. The prices are very reasonable too! We ordered the pad Thai and another noodle dish, and a couple of Thai teas with boba as well. The lunch specials are great as you get soup with it, salad, dumplings, egg roll and a smaller dish sized main. Completely worth and will fill you up! Plus the food was delicious! The service was sharp and attentive, always keeping and eye on us! Check this place out before it...
