Sour beers! Yay! I get excited when places serve a decent selection of other stuff instead of it just being the usual beer all the time. The cool thing is you can get a sampler and you choose how ever many tasters you want. It doesn’t have to be in a set or 4 or 8 or anything. I pretty much tried all the ones that I could try samples of and they were really good! I wish they had the pineapple one to try though, but they said that it was from a bottle and not tap. They also have “night club” lighting which I thought was kind of weird since it looked like it was in a converted warehouse or something which didn’t really match the theme, but didn’t bother me or anything. What bothered me though was that there was ONE bartender for the whole night. A Friday night. She was really good, but the service was super slow since she had to do everything herself. Overall, the sour beers were good, I like the tasters, the mood lighting was weird, the place is pretty small and the bartender was good, but the service was slow. Good times though.

Kilowatt is great. It's been around a long time, and it's always been an enjoyable brewery to visit. They offer a wide variety of styles of beer. The ambiance is really fun. The staff has always been helpful and nice. There is lots of parking behind the building and some parking on the street in front. They offer small bites that you can enjoy with your beer. The tasting room is suitable for all sizes of parties, and they are open late compared to other breweries in the area. There is a speak easy attached that is pretty fun to visit when there is room. They just opened up a new room attached to the brewery. This brewery never misses a chance to be festive for any reason. Beer slushies are almost always on tap as well.

Awesome beer, a bit difficult to find, small location. My wife and I were off put by a brewery down the street and ended up coming here instead. We are so glad we did! We ordered two flights and sampled a bunch of beers. Every one was super tasty and very good. They just had a small number of salty snacks (bags of chips, etc) but the focus there was their tasty beers. Definitely try their dark beers, I personally really took to their Chocolate Macadamia Stout. Their Coconut IPA was also really delicious. The bartender was very attentive and helpful with us first-timers with what to try. The decor was also really fun, they looked to have games and everything was acrylic and colorful.

Kilowatt is a fun brewery, no doubt about it.

Location: There's no dedicated parking lot, but you should have no problem finding a spot just down the street or behind the brewery. Can be kinda hard to see, but trust your google maps GPS cause it is spot on.

Beer: I tried 3 different beers while I was there, a blackberry Berliner Weisse, a hazy IPA, and a strawberry blonde. They were all very good and the fruit flavor is potent.

Atmosphere: The fellow behind the bar, Luke, was inviting and friendly. He paid close attention to the patrons while still interacting and being sociable. The bartop itself (pictured) was very unique because it lights up and strobes adding to the "kilowatt" feel. In addition to that were several cool lamps, overhead lighting, and art. Multiple handmade bar...

Horrible service. Staff is just talking to much with each other & washing dishes at the wrong time when they could have poured us another drink. Came in tonight with my dad & no welcoming & no how are you or is this your first time (which it was). Beer was okay but when we got our food, the cook brought it out & not telling us which hot dog is what (the guests are supposed to know or guess 🤔) & then my food was missing an ingredient & not offering me more of some of the other items they just ignored it, disgusting. Had better hot dogs at other places, nothing special. Also, horrible customer service cause nobody asked us how are beers were or how are food was, the vibe of the place was weird so definitely not coming back, get better...
