I came here early morning (yesterday) to help kill time (and eat, since i was hungry after work) while i was having my car serviced at a dealership down the street. Two employees were seated together when i walked into the shop. "Wsup" was the crass greeting i was given by an employee. That didnt bother me though. Let's cut to the chase then; the sandwich I ordered was very bad. The turkey had turned a bit; i could tell by the slightly off-putting smell and taste of it. I couldnt find any jack cheese. The bun was warm at first , but the contents were tepid, at best. Anyway, bottom line is, i had diarrhea after i returned home, and just got off the toilet just now. (Over 24 hrs) The employees were extremely rude. I had just finished working. My job is very physically demanding, so i sweat a lot, and i def needed a shower. They assumed I dont speak/understand Spanish. They called me dirty (cochino), smelly, etc...word to the wise (who care): dont assume that other ppl wont understand your "foreign" language. I just want the shop owner(s) to know that not all of your employees have the best interests of your business in mind. Apparently, most ppl have had good experiences with the food at least. That is my bare minimum. If the service/employees are bad, not a huge problem or surprise to me, since humanity has gone to (*fill in the blank). But when the food is spoiled AND poorly made, there isnt anything left to say. Many ppl are horrible to each other for any reason, so whatever, there isn't much available control over this problem. Owner: better management may help you out immensely. Patron: Eat at your own risk, yet i suppose this is true at any meal. Trust your...
Read moreWhen I walked in, there was no one at the counter, and I could hear some dude talking to his friend on the phone. When he came out, he seemed high, which I don't mind as long as you can still function, but this dude had me repeating everything I said, and looked at me with a blank stare, whenever I asked him a question. I came in there for salad which is half of their menu and he said they had no salads. Mind you, this is 1pm on a weekday. I asked him if he had soup and he looked around confused for a second and then said "I think so." BTW, there's a giant sign that says they have soup. I said fine I'll take a soup and he went and brought me a lentil soup, which was room temperature and the lentils were uncooked. Absolutely one of the worst dining experiences I've had. I gave it 2 stars because it was so bad it...
Read moreThis has been my go-to lunch place for years. I always make the trip to their Mission Hills location but Convoy Ct. is close to work where I easily grab a quick lunch and be back to the office. The staff always takes the time to say hi and make you feel welcome (you don’t find that much anymore) and I have yet to find a place that has fresher ingredients and softer bread (unless I get it toasted). I never write reviews but after years of great subs and not once have I been disappointed,, I owe it to them....
