Ordered 4 chicharron tacos by phone. The phone person did not give me a total as she rushed to hang up. The tacos are listed at $3 each on their big wall menu. When I got there they hadn't put my order in yet. The cashier had no idea anyone had ordered by phone. So I placed my order there once again. I got charged $17 for 4 tacos. I asked why I was getting charged that much. She said that's the price. Tacos are at $4, that's the new price.

This hidden fee is by no means small and adds up quickly.

They only take cash.

The tacos were my biggest disappointment. To say they were wet is an understatement. The "chicharron" was overly mushy and sticky. I honestly doubt it was even chicharron. It seemed like some other pork meat.

I ate one of the 4 tacos. Just from hunger. But I cannot recommend these tacos.

I also cannot recommend the place as they might have $5 tacos tomorrow and $6 tacos the next day without making it known to their customers.

The inconvenience of very limited street parking does not help, nor the fact that they only take cash and they don't let you know of this fact when you order over the phone, you only find out once you drive there. Very poor communication indeed.

Don't be surprised if they don't start your order until you get there and place the order again.

One more bothersome thing, I had to repeat myself a plenty of times because they had music blasting FOH.

Ordene una ensalada de fruta sin melón, y la granola, miel y queso cottage al lado, la cual ordenamos casi a las 10 de la noche cuando ya casi no había gente. Literalmente, éramos la última orden. Después de esperar un rato, la señora que se encargó de hacer nuestra orden me llamo a la caja y me dijo que ya le había puesto granola y queso cottage, y que si estaría bien si me la llevaba así...yo le dije que no, la razón por que soy alérgico a la leche. Esta señora me puso cara de fuchi al oir esto. Después de todo esto, me entregó la orden con mucho melon, sin mango, y sin la miel, granola o queso cottage que mi novia iba a comer. Yo encontré este lugar cuando recién abrió, lo e recomendado a virias personas y me gustaba mucho la comida pero esto no es justo. El error lo cometió ella y por su maldad, ahora tengo extra fruta que no quería, sin los condimentos por los que yo page . Pensé regresar pero es mejor que sepan los dueños que tipo de gente tienen trabajando para ellos.

I ordered a fruit salad without melon and with the granola, honey and cottage cheese on the side, of which we ordered close to 10 when there was almost no one there. We were literally the last people to order. After we waited for a second, the lady in charge of making our order called me to the window and informed me that she had already added granola and cottage cheese and asked if it was ok if she gave me the plate like that or if she should make it again. I quickly said no, I'd rather you make it again. I'm allergic to cheese. She made a face and turned around and started my order again. After receiving my order, I went home and soon realized I should have checked my order: she added extra melon, withheld the mango and didn't even give me the extras on the side that my gf was planning on eating...I found this place when they had just opened up and have recommended them to many people since I found them. They have great food, this I will not take away from them but that I experienced was unjust. The employee was in the wrong, and because of her unfair actions, I now have extra fruit I didn't want without the condiments that I paid for. I thought about going back but I figured it would be better for the owners of this place to know what kind of people they have...

The Elote ordered was okay-ish borderline good, but the reason for the review was the timeliness of the service. It was pretty lackluster putting it lightly. Five customers that had ordered after me, big orders (full meals) mind you all got their orders before I did, and then some. I probably spent 20 minutes in the joint waiting and this is not counting the 5 or so minutes I had to spend outside counting change because this place doesn't want to take card. Definitely shouldn't be your first choice if you're going for an elote, but who knows, come for a five course meal and you might just leave a couple of minutes after you ordered. Probably won't come back here unless I have an 30 to an...
