Ordered 2 chicken kebab plates for $30 We did not enjoy their food. I wouldn’t order here again even if someone paid.
The tomatoes where closer to raw still then grilled.
The meat was pre made the food came in 5 min. All the chicken kebabs where dry.
They also didn’t have any flavor to them. Salt and pepper maybe. Tasted like American kebabs. These really did not live up to the Persian Kebab experience. Just look at the color of them compared to the others that where posted??
She told me she added a spicy dipping sauce?? And that’s why prices went up from the Google maps menu they have.. It tasted like spicy Mayo,
The Rice was also plain!
Not sure what the yellow color rice is ?? it doesn’t taste like Saffron, or it’s very watered down.
Maybe at some point they where better, and Covid has people cutting corners.. A good Persian restaurant has the basic staples you expect. This one…. Nope
No Sabze No Sumac No Butter No Flavor, you can tell because every other picture posted has yellow color kebabs and mine have no color.. I got end of the day service. Close to closing
Salad 🥗 Lettuce 🥬 , Shredded Cabbage? & Carrots? 🥕 ,
no cucumbers 🥒 no tomatoes 🍅 and the sauce was..? Not good to my liking.
A very disappointing visit I definitely do not recommend the chicken kebab. Or at least make sure it’s yellow first. Then it may have flavor.
I will not return. Persian food is way to expensive to get a completely...
Read moreNaseem's is located in Sorrento Valley across from Qualcomm in a little center with a few restaurants on Pacific Heights Blvd. We first discovered her food when I was pregnant with our son nearly 6 years ago and our doctor's office was located nearby. Soon, it became a RAGING MANDATORY REQUIREMENT that I get her delicious lamb koobideh (ground meat kebab) every time we went to the doctor. Or sometimes Stephen would be forced to make the drive from Escondido even without any appointments because.... you know...cravings 😂 When our son was born I would joke that he's my little koobideh and pretend to eat his cheeks ❤
Naseem and her little cafe will always be so special to our little family. She is such a warm, kind person and you can see how hard she is working and you can just taste and feel the love she puts in to her food. Simple menu of kebab served with rice plates or in a wrap, and it's some of the best around town (don't need no fancy downtown $40 kebab when this is perfection!!) She serves tea and coffee, and if you're lucky to get your hands on them before they sell out, she makes amazing fresh baked cream puffs too! We'll have to show you guys next time if we can get there...
Read moreThis restaurant is managed by the Nowroozi family. They are quite nice and friendly. The food quality is the best from natural and fresh ingredients. They offer varieties of Kabob and Stews. You can pick kabobs in different format like in wrap, with rice and salad, or with spring salad. The taste of the food are amazing and it has already the required sides. Thus, you don't need to pay extra for the sides. It is the best place to have a quick but healthy and delicious food during your working days. I usually call Naseem for pre-ordering whenever I start walking to that restaurant. When I arrived there, my yummy meal is ready on the table! As a result, I can come back to my work very quickly with lots of energy. Friday is the day for treating myself with Naseem's baking and pastries. Their Persian style hot tea along with Naseem's Cream Puff is the best combination for refreshing yourselves during afternoon. Thank you Nowroozi family for establishing such a...
