Ok, I am going to be a bit harsh here. It is a shame that this Peet’s which has good coffee should always have several dirty and unwiped tables outside that are not ever checked regularly. Also a few times when I have ordered a croissant with my coffee the pastry has been very stale. Maybe that is why they always offer to warm it up. If I am buying a croissant I expect it to be fresh and delivered that morning, not a few days ago, as the taste suggests. Read moreI’m not sure if this is just our experience but my daughter and I wanted to grab a quick snack and stood in line (front) for maybe 5 minutes today and no one of the 3 or 4 staff behind the counter even said “we’ll be right with you”. If we were there for a minute or two that’s one thing, but 5 minutes to not even be acknowledged was excessive. Sadly, they’ve replaced the traditional barista-made coffee with an automatic machine, making the experience feel more like a rushed airport coffee stop. The unique charm and quality that set Peet's apart – a handcrafted, superior cup of coffee – are now lost. With this change, it’s hard to justify choosing Peet's over any nearby chain like Starbucks.
