Pizza Cassette - Now that's a delicious pizza pie! The results are in and we both agree, Pizza Cassette is highly recommended. The crust is superb, authentic, hand-stretched and wood-fired to perfection. Just like I used to get in Sicily. My wife had the "Elvis" con prosciutto, mozzarella, parmesan, and arugula. I had the "Fungadelic" con salami, mushroom, mozzarella, parmesan, garlic, and shallot. It is in The Garden where you'll find a local brewery and a winery. Everything you need for a great dinner date. It is an outdoor venue with limited canopy shade, but probably best to go as the sun is setting or later. The heat of the day can be brutal and take away from the delight of a delicious meal. Check them out, but only if you enjoy a delicious pizza! You'll find Pizza Cassette right off Morena where the I-8 meets I-5. Or you can plug "5322 Banks St San Diego" into your phone.

LOVE LOVE LOVE, this place. Their pizzas were amazing. Their crust is one of the best in San Diego. NY style. Best quality prime toppings. We were a party of 6 and we ordered 4 different pizzas, and I got a salad. Their salad was so simple and yet delicious. Love the wood plate! Reasonable pricing. Prices are around $20 per pie and we had leftovers. They have wine and beer at the same little plaza. The live music added so much fun to our afternoon. My only complain, would be, the lack of desserts. They only have in the menu a big brownie that wa over sweet and on the dry side, but to be honest, we came home to reheat the leftover pizza and completely forgot about the lack of dessert :)

Great pizza and chill atmosphere in The Gärten on a Sunday early evening in December. Got in at 4:30pm and caught the happy hour with $5 off pizzas. Decent size and good toppings on a thin crust pizza. We had the H to the Ezzo and Pork Soda. All 3 of us preferred the Pork Soda, but both were good. We also ordered the Great Balls of Fire meatballs, and those were excellent! Enjoyed the beer from Deft Brewing as well— tried the Maibock and Belgian Witbier. Live music from the Soul Garden Allstars was the icing on the cake! Thanks for the music!

The pizza is unique and good. I’ve enjoyed it most times I’ve been here.

What is lacking is the service. If you sit at a table without a number , like we did, (because those numberless tables exist here) then your pizza will not come out. So word to the wise, sit only at spots with numbers or starve. There is no in between with their current system. My suggestion would be for them to have a portable number on a stand for anyone who sits at these numberless tables or people standing waiting for a seat bc it gets very busy on Friday nights so both could easily happen.

Clearly, we sat at table (complete with chairs and everything) with no number. Waited over an hour , then eventually inquired about our pizza. They realized they made a mistake, did not apologize, then added our pizza to the queue again. We waited another 30 minutes. The pizza came out and we got blamed for sitting at a table without a number. That definitely put a huge damper on the whole night because of how they blamed us for their error.

The pizza itself is good. Crust is really nice, the center is really thin and soggy though (my only qualm with the pizza itself) but the flavors and topping combinations are great.

Worth checking out but beware of the numberless tables that are in the garten or this could...

Saw this spot on TikTok and absolutely had to check it out—and wow, it did not disappoint. Yes, it was slammed when we got there (clearly not a secret anymore), and the wait was longer than expected… but honestly, totally worth it. We ordered three pies: The Queen, Lemon Song, and Pork Soda. Each one had its own vibe, and all three were absolute standouts. The crust was spot-on, toppings were generous, bold and balanced, and the flavors? Next level. Best pizza I’ve had in a long time—and I don’t say that lightly. We wanted to order the corned beef sandwich, but they were already sold out(which indicates that it is as tasty as it looks)

The crowd alone told us we were in for a wait, but it reminded me of Flour + Water in San Francisco which at times has a four hour wait: when the food’s that good, people are willing to hang, plus there was a band and they were great and the time passed by and before we knew it we were stuffing our faces. If you’re looking for a quick pie, maybe come during off-hours. But if you’re down to chill and let the anticipation build, this place is worth it.

Already planning our next visit for that corned beef sandwich and likely when it’s busy and when they...

If you're looking for an amazing pizza experience, look no further than Pizza Cassette! What a cool restaurant and venue for live music! From the moment you walk in, the cozy atmosphere and mouthwatering aroma let you know you're in for a treat. The staff is warm, welcoming, and passionate about delivering a top-notch dining experience. The bands that are booked each week are fun and energetic and it just adds to the cool vibe of this place. If you're looking to accompany the delicious food with spirits, you'll have your choice of beer, wine and/or mead!

The menu is a pizza lover's dream -- from classic Neapolitan pizza to adventurous gourmet options, there's something for everyone. They have a weekly special that you don't want to miss out on! Their dough is perfectly house made and hand-tossed, with a crisp exterior and a soft, airy inside and is absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned ingredients are added without overpowering the balance of flavors. Don't skip on the house made sauces, house made meatballs or sandwiches either, they're equally delicious!

I keep going back for more and more and...
