The pizza is unique and good. I’ve enjoyed it most times I’ve been here.
What is lacking is the service. If you sit at a table without a number , like we did, (because those numberless tables exist here) then your pizza will not come out. So word to the wise, sit only at spots with numbers or starve. There is no in between with their current system. My suggestion would be for them to have a portable number on a stand for anyone who sits at these numberless tables or people standing waiting for a seat bc it gets very busy on Friday nights so both could easily happen.
Clearly, we sat at table (complete with chairs and everything) with no number. Waited over an hour , then eventually inquired about our pizza. They realized they made a mistake, did not apologize, then added our pizza to the queue again. We waited another 30 minutes. The pizza came out and we got blamed for sitting at a table without a number. That definitely put a huge damper on the whole night because of how they blamed us for their error.
The pizza itself is good. Crust is really nice, the center is really thin and soggy though (my only qualm with the pizza itself) but the flavors and topping combinations are great.
Worth checking out but beware of the numberless tables that are in the garten or this could...
Read moreSaw this spot on TikTok and absolutely had to check it out—and wow, it did not disappoint. Yes, it was slammed when we got there (clearly not a secret anymore), and the wait was longer than expected… but honestly, totally worth it. We ordered three pies: The Queen, Lemon Song, and Pork Soda. Each one had its own vibe, and all three were absolute standouts. The crust was spot-on, toppings were generous, bold and balanced, and the flavors? Next level. Best pizza I’ve had in a long time—and I don’t say that lightly. We wanted to order the corned beef sandwich, but they were already sold out(which indicates that it is as tasty as it looks)
The crowd alone told us we were in for a wait, but it reminded me of Flour + Water in San Francisco which at times has a four hour wait: when the food’s that good, people are willing to hang, plus there was a band and they were great and the time passed by and before we knew it we were stuffing our faces. If you’re looking for a quick pie, maybe come during off-hours. But if you’re down to chill and let the anticipation build, this place is worth it.
Already planning our next visit for that corned beef sandwich and likely when it’s busy and when they...
