My friend and I went to Popeye's today on EUCLID & FEDERAL AVE and I was very disappointed with cold food. When I brought it back, I was asked, "Oh is it cold?" Well, WTF- if you knew it was cold, why did you serve it to me? So now, I have to wait for new items to be cooked while my others items were now getting cold!
Also, we were very disturbed when I was told that I could NOT purchase food for a man who clearly needed to eat! How can you tell me, who I can purchase food for, as long as I can pay the bill? Then, I was told that it is their policy to not allow customers to purchase food for PEOPLE WHO LOOK indigent and that they didn't want to encourage them coming around! How CRAZY IS THIS. The cashier made such a big fuss about it and the next thing we knew, all of the staff was out in the front giving me the dirty eye. I should have asked for ALL of my money back and went next door to McDonald's! This man was minding his business, not bothering anyone! I OFFERED to buy him something to eat and the cashier kept handing me back my money telling me it's against their policy!
I DIDN'T WANT THEM TO THINK THAT THEY WERE GOING TO INTIMIDATE ME. We sat right there, while the man ate his food, with ALL the staff googling at him and us, trying to make us uncomfortable. Finally, he just left with his food in his hands!
I hope that some day one or all of them to have rely on someone purchasing a meal for them and is faced with the same degradation, disrespect, ill-will and ugliness!

Ordered online, 2 orders /4 items total (they got me with the $5 spicy box)went to drive thru, (long wait, but that's ok) finally get to the speaker, the young lady can't figure out how to spell my name it's 6 letters, I annunciate well, letter by letter, she can't find either of the orders. I try to tell her what my order was, she is still trying to spell my name and finally tells me to come to the window. I get to the window, spell my name yet again, still nothing. I'm looking at my emailed receipts, she wants me to enlarge my name, it's not on the receipt, finally I pull out my driver's license, aha, magically it's the bag right in front of her and looks at a couple more bags, I get my 2nd order. Now I'm back to my hotel room (so this is it for options of what to eat) get back and I didn't even get all of my food. I was so happy to get my order, I didn't check...my bad. But it really sucks. Read moreI have no problems with the food. However the staff at this particular location is extremely incompetent. I placed a mobile order and when I got there, the order didn’t show up in their system. Got to the window, still wasn’t there, I get it, sometimes it just doesn’t show up so I showed my receipt on the app. Still wasn’t showing up so they wrote down my order. The problems start here. They asked to see the receipt a second time. They go off for 5 minutes. Ask a third time. Same thing. Then the manager or something (assuming because she was wearing a grey shirt instead of the usual orange) asked to see the receipt again. I handed her my phone and as I hand her my phone, I noticed her hands are covered in flour, obviously from breading chicken. So now I’ve been sitting at the window for like 10 minutes, given them my phone 4 times and a manager or supervisor touched my property with contaminated hands. Then she asks to see proof that I paid in my bank account. So I’m supposed to show this random lady who has no regard for health standards my bank information now?
