Shores Diner — Restaurant in San Diego

Most of the staff is very friendly and the food is good! There is one lady (I think a manager) with blonde wavy hair who was very rude to me as soon as I came in. They got my order wrong and she proceeded to be rude and made the biggest deal out of me coming back, when I had class to get to and would not give me a refund without "proof." I was already across campus and had to come back when she could've verified with the cook what they made wrong. She then gave me dirty looks and refused to address the issue herself when I came in. She had one of the very nice waiters finally give me a refund, but the whole ordeal just put me off. Last time I was there they also charged me for two almost $10 drinks after a long wait when I did not order them and they also got my food order wrong, but the male manager there was very nice and remade my food and refunded me for the drinks. My colleagues and I, who all work at UCSD, had the pleasure of dining at Shores Diner today, and it was such a fantastic experience. It was our first time there, and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Matt, the bar manager, who was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. He and the primary cook were not only friendly but also so fun to chat with.
