(Low stare rating due to mobile orders.) For whatever reason this location has great difficulty managing mobile orders. I typically place my order just before I pull out of the driveway. I live 7-10 mins away, which means my order should be ready when I walk in the door. On three separate occasions, I waited over 10 minutes for my order - once when the store was empty - except for the line of 15 people waiting for their mobile orders. I avoid this location before work because I cannot trust that my order will be ready on time and I cannot risk being late for work. Not sure if this is a management issue (under staffed or poorly trained people working the orders) or a technological issue (the system isn't alerting staff to incoming orders) or a combination of the two.
However, when I have a stress free, no immediate obligation weekend craving for a sweet overpriced coffee drink, this is a nice location to visit. The store is clean and the staff is friendly and there is a nice outside patio area to enjoy...
Read moreCame on a Saturday and ordered a venti drink with light ice. It wasn't that busy, however, my drink took awhile to make. Husband was next door at Einstein's and finished his meal b4 I came back to join him with my drink. My light ice drink was 1/2 cup filled with ice. I went back to complain and talked to Rhiannon. She was loud and argumentative. She said that was their standard of light ice. If I wanted less, I needed to specify EXTREMELY light ice. I said I have been to numerous Starbucks, and was given 1/4 - 1/3 cup of ice when I say light ice. Here, I'm given 1/2 cup of ice. I asked her would regular ice mean 3/4 cup of ice?!?! She did not apologize or offer to make me a new drink. Instead she argued that is their standard here. I went to a different Starbucks next day, and ordered same drink, light ice, and they made it perfectly. Read moreWhile the coffee at this Starbucks is consistently excellent, the customer service towards me today has been disappointing compared to the many positive reviews I’ve read. My interactions with staff have not reflected the same level of hospitality others mention. Several of the female staff, have come across as dismissive, unprofessional, and at times disrespectful. I walked in with a smile and greeted them, but got mean looks and eye rolling in return.
On a more positive note, I have noticed Gustavo making an effort to maintain a welcoming attitude, which is appreciated. However, one particular employee regularly sings loudly and off-key while working. While his energy reflects positive vibes, it comes across as unprofessional and distracting—especially for customers who are trying to work or hold conversations.
